Took my granddaughter for a meal there as was staying in premier Inn and we both enjoyed it. Nice healthy stuff on menu for a five yr old that she really enjoyed finished off with a funny face ice cream, her night was made.

My meal of chicken escalope was nice fresh and really hot and enjoyed that too.

Staff were really helpful and attentive and great with little one even though she kept trying to talk to them in Welsh, she is just learning it in school.

Very enjoyable meal and would definitely go again.

Staff are great and the food is really good, I'll be staying in the Premier Inn 2 nights a week here until at least April next year so hopefully the menu will have a change 😃

I eat the rib eye steak, very nice and fresh. Tasty food and enjoy the dinner.

All 6 of us enjoyed our food, my steak was cooked perfect and the chips were the best I've tasted for a long time. My only little moan would be that the waitress came over with the bill without asking as soon as we had finished dessert so felt like she wanted us to go.

Service good food was fab after sending back my first steak that wasn't a good cut and very chewy but they put it right straight away and gave us a free pudding so well done. Kevin our server was lovely.

Jus got back from the eating here, food here was very good for the money, we had the steak and prawns and Lamb rump. we were served by Lewis very polite young man one of the best waiters I’ve had, would recommend, especially if you have kids.nice chilled out atmosphere,

You waited ages at bar to be served,, the place nice clean the waiter we had was very nice ,, food I had salad bit disappointing the dessert I had was Mississippi mud pie you couldnt cut it with knife and fork it was so hard really should have sent it back and had something else all round out of ten 5

I ordered the tabasco chicken burger and watched it sat on the side for nearly 10 minutes before a waitress saw me looking at it and brought it over to me. That aside, the food was lovely. Had the pimms trifle after and it was a sloppy mess with frozen soggy strawberries. No excuse for frozen strawberries when they are in season. Breakfast was the usual premier inn breakfast and was ok.

Have to wait to long to get a drink as they concentrated on food! Someone said won't be a moment 5 minutes later still waiting so walked out went garden house served 30 seconds on going to bar

Great food , it was just a bit manic ! Stayed in the premier so had breakfast two mornings and beefeater in the evening. Seemed to be a severe lack of staff !

Even with the lack of staff they all smiled and done all they could to help !

Food is the bomb but the service isn't so good, we all felt rushed when ordering the food. We eventually ordered then after 20 mins or so was told that they did not have what we wanted?! It felt more like we were in the way rather then paying customers. Need to work on the customer service, I know it was hot yesterday I wouldn't want to be at work myself �� other then that the food was excellent so would recommend

We were a table of 14 yesterday. Seating area was messy from the party before us, there were balloons all over the floor and rubbish left under our table,food was good but service was very poor and had to wait an hour for a waitress to take our order. There was a lot of dishes that wasn’t available on the menu for our mains and limited on availability on desserts. Only one member of staff on the bar who was so grumpy and we had to wait ages to get served.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Very disappointed. We went for a birthday meal and ordered a Flat Iron steak and a Sirloin medium, the Flat Iron was ok the sirloin almost walked of the plate, it was rare chewy and inedible. Thank goodness I had ordered a side of coleslaw and Greek salad.

Obviously the waiters are not trained to be aware that if the majority of a steak with pieces that have been chewed and unable to be swallowed are left on a plate they do not ask if everything was ok with the meal.

We spent £53 on this meal that for me was inedible, will not use this restaurant again and would certainly not recommend.

This Birthday meal was totally spoiled.

This particular trip wasn't our best. We've been here many times before and usually recommend it but our last visit wasn't very good. We asked for a bit of time when we sat down to have a look through the menu but the waitress didn't come back to us for ages, as we had 2 ask 2 other members of staff we were ready to order. We ordered 1 starter and 2 mains. I ordered chicken wings and was surprised when they had brought out what was more like lollipop chicken, definitely not wings. We then had to wait ages for the mains, atleast an hour or so after we had initially ordered it. What made it worse, even though my wife's minted lamb was fine, I asked to half my fillet and cook it "medium well", only to come out with 1 half cooked fine and the other half more like "rare medium". I then needed to return it and wait another 5-10 minutes for it to come back out. After all this, I'd lost my appetite and changed out minds on desert. To finish it off, we had to wait ages just to ask for the bill as the waitress seemed like she was struggling for ages with the till. We just got to the point we wanted to get out of there. As wife's food was ok and previous visits were good, I gave this visit 2* instead of 1*. If we decide to go again, hopefully it'll be like our previous visits.

Went in for breakfast yesterday. No bread. No butter. No spread. No plates. Dirty cutlery. Had to seat ourselves and wait ages to order and food. The waitress was very apologetic and obviously embarrassed, the manager the same and did not charge us. They tried their best in what was obviously organisational chaos. The senior waitress (blond hair, patterned blouse) was surly, disinterested and really did not help what was already a disaster. She really let her colleagues down. I would have got her name but she stayed away rather than checking and soothing, addressing from a distance and saying she was busy. She also helped herself to a croissant and coffee whilst the disaster was unfolding and your team were being assailed from all sides.

Visited today for evening dinner, service was poor. We waited for at least 10minutes before someone came to seat us. I asked the Bar who wasn’t doing anything and he replied someone will come to you soon.... I should of known we were in for a treat... food average and the over priced. All 3 of Ute deserts wasn’t actually what we ordered, cookie dough ice cream was a chocolate brownie and. My Black Forrest trifle didn’t have cherries in although it stated it on the menu, told the waiter and he shrugged his shoulders and said I’ll find out who did it and tell them. No apology offered. Our bill came to £72 compared to miller and carter it’s s complete rip off. I won’t be returning.

Food was OK to be fair except for the barbecue wings which were dripping in fat.Ordered a pint of Pepsi with my meal and got Pepsi max,told a waitress who was dressed in normal clothes so I'm guessing she was in charge, that it was Pepsi max and you would think I'd threatened her life.She returned with a half of Pepsi, this was rectified by a young bearded chap who was fantastic during my stay. The next night we waited at seating point and we were met by our lovely girl in normal clothes.She quite rudely to be honest informed us that we couldn't sit in restaurant as we hadn't made a reservation, she made no attempt to help us organise one as they and the hotel they share business with have no communication at all but told us in her constantly rude manner that we could eat in the bar,as a side point,there wasn't many people in the restaurant maybe 1/3 full.We also witnessed the table next to us one day receive barbecue wings with no sauce, so just wings,when the customers asked about sauce the reply came,oh you want sauce.At this point I almost fell off my chair laughing.The place is a joke

Very disappointed. We went for a birthday meal and ordered a Flat Iron steak and a Sirloin medium, the Flat Iron was ok the sirloin almost walked of the plate, it was rare chewy and inedible. Thank goodness I had ordered a side of coleslaw and Greek salad.

Obviously the waiters are not trained to be aware that if the majority of a steak with pieces that have been chewed and unable to be swallowed are left on a plate they do not ask if everything was ok with the meal.

We spent £53 on this meal that for me was inedible, will not use this restaurant again and would certainly not recommend.

This Birthday meal was totally spoiled.

This particular trip wasn't our best. We've been here many times before and usually recommend it but our last visit wasn't very good. We asked for a bit of time when we sat down to have a look through the menu but the waitress didn't come back to us for ages, as we had 2 ask 2 other members of staff we were ready to order. We ordered 1 starter and 2 mains. I ordered chicken wings and was surprised when they had brought out what was more like lollipop chicken, definitely not wings. We then had to wait ages for the mains, atleast an hour or so after we had initially ordered it. What made it worse, even though my wife's minted lamb was fine, I asked to half my fillet and cook it "medium well", only to come out with 1 half cooked fine and the other half more like "rare medium". I then needed to return it and wait another 5-10 minutes for it to come back out. After all this, I'd lost my appetite and changed out minds on desert. To finish it off, we had to wait ages just to ask for the bill as the waitress seemed like she was struggling for ages with the till. We just got to the point we wanted to get out of there. As wife's food was ok and previous visits were good, I gave this visit 2* instead of 1*. If we decide to go again, hopefully it'll be like our previous visits.

Went in for breakfast yesterday. No bread. No butter. No spread. No plates. Dirty cutlery. Had to seat ourselves and wait ages to order and food. The waitress was very apologetic and obviously embarrassed, the manager the same and did not charge us. They tried their best in what was obviously organisational chaos. The senior waitress (blond hair, patterned blouse) was surly, disinterested and really did not help what was already a disaster. She really let her colleagues down. I would have got her name but she stayed away rather than checking and soothing, addressing from a distance and saying she was busy. She also helped herself to a croissant and coffee whilst the disaster was unfolding and your team were being assailed from all sides.

Visited today for evening dinner, service was poor. We waited for at least 10minutes before someone came to seat us. I asked the Bar who wasn’t doing anything and he replied someone will come to you soon.... I should of known we were in for a treat... food average and the over priced. All 3 of Ute deserts wasn’t actually what we ordered, cookie dough ice cream was a chocolate brownie and. My Black Forrest trifle didn’t have cherries in although it stated it on the menu, told the waiter and he shrugged his shoulders and said I’ll find out who did it and tell them. No apology offered. Our bill came to £72 compared to miller and carter it’s s complete rip off. I won’t be returning.

Food was OK to be fair except for the barbecue wings which were dripping in fat.Ordered a pint of Pepsi with my meal and got Pepsi max,told a waitress who was dressed in normal clothes so I'm guessing she was in charge, that it was Pepsi max and you would think I'd threatened her life.She returned with a half of Pepsi, this was rectified by a young bearded chap who was fantastic during my stay. The next night we waited at seating point and we were met by our lovely girl in normal clothes.She quite rudely to be honest informed us that we couldn't sit in restaurant as we hadn't made a reservation, she made no attempt to help us organise one as they and the hotel they share business with have no communication at all but told us in her constantly rude manner that we could eat in the bar,as a side point,there wasn't many people in the restaurant maybe 1/3 full.We also witnessed the table next to us one day receive barbecue wings with no sauce, so just wings,when the customers asked about sauce the reply came,oh you want sauce.At this point I almost fell off my chair laughing.The place is a joke

Took my granddaughter for a meal there as was staying in premier Inn and we both enjoyed it. Nice healthy stuff on menu for a five yr old that she really enjoyed finished off with a funny face ice cream, her night was made.

My meal of chicken escalope was nice fresh and really hot and enjoyed that too.

Staff were really helpful and attentive and great with little one even though she kept trying to talk to them in Welsh, she is just learning it in school.

Very enjoyable meal and would definitely go again.

Staff are great and the food is really good, I'll be staying in the Premier Inn 2 nights a week here until at least April next year so hopefully the menu will have a change 😃

I eat the rib eye steak, very nice and fresh. Tasty food and enjoy the dinner.

Had such a lovely meal at beefeater. Lovely food and great customer service. I highly recommend it.

All 6 of us enjoyed our food, my steak was cooked perfect and the chips were the best I've tasted for a long time. My only little moan would be that the waitress came over with the bill without asking as soon as we had finished dessert so felt like she wanted us to go.

Service good food was fab after sending back my first steak that wasn't a good cut and very chewy but they put it right straight away and gave us a free pudding so well done. Kevin our server was lovely.

Jus got back from the eating here, food here was very good for the money, we had the steak and prawns and Lamb rump. we were served by Lewis very polite young man one of the best waiters I’ve had, would recommend, especially if you have kids.nice chilled out atmosphere,

You waited ages at bar to be served,, the place nice clean the waiter we had was very nice ,, food I had salad bit disappointing the dessert I had was Mississippi mud pie you couldnt cut it with knife and fork it was so hard really should have sent it back and had something else all round out of ten 5

Stayed here one night on business and had the meal deal. I ordered the tabasco chicken burger and watched it sat on the side for nearly 10 minutes before a waitress saw me looking at it and brought it over to me. That aside, the food was lovely. Had the pimms trifle after and it was a sloppy mess with frozen soggy strawberries. No excuse for frozen strawberries when they are in season. Breakfast was the usual premier inn breakfast and was ok.

Have to wait to long to get a drink as they concentrated on food! Someone said won't be a moment 5 minutes later still waiting so walked out went garden house served 30 seconds on going to bar

Great food , it was just a bit manic ! Stayed in the premier so had breakfast two mornings and beefeater in the evening. Seemed to be a severe lack of staff !

Took a while to order but once we did the food came along fast and it tasted great !

Even with the lack of staff they all smiled and done all they could to help !

Food is the bomb but the service isn't so good, we all felt rushed when ordering the food. We eventually ordered then after 20 mins or so was told that they did not have what we wanted?! It felt more like we were in the way rather then paying customers. Need to work on the customer service, I know it was hot yesterday I wouldn't want to be at work myself �� other then that the food was excellent so would recommend

We were a table of 14 yesterday. Seating area was messy from the party before us, there were balloons all over the floor and rubbish left under our table,food was good but service was very poor and had to wait an hour for a waitress to take our order. There was a lot of dishes that wasn’t available on the menu for our mains and limited on availability on desserts. Only one member of staff on the bar who was so grumpy and we had to wait ages to get served.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.
