Fresh in the fridges this week - a whole load of @naparbier from Pamplona, Spain.
Naparbier have been producing great hoppy beers, like the NEIPA here as well as pushing boundaries and experimenting with new styles, like the BRUT IPA & their Margarita Gose.

Cheese Club. with La Fromagerie & Yorkshire Jack Weds 16/01 7pm to 8:30pm
... A brand new beer & cheese pairing evening presented by Beer Merchants own turophile (lover of cheese).
Jack will be presenting a selection of Belgian beers paired with exceptional cheeses from our supplier La Fromagerie. Over the course of the evening we'll explore and discuss different styles of beer, and how each styles specific aroma & flavour leads to unique taste pairings.
Jack will also explain about how diverse production techniques in both beer and cheese lead to such a variety of styles and unique characteristics.
Tickets are £12.50 and include four beer & cheese pairings.

With our next Tryanuary Tap Takeover weekend, from Thursday 31st Jan to Saturday 2nd Feb (just squeezed it in there) we will be celebrating not one, not two but three British breweries that we believe are set to take 2019 by storm.
Verdant Brewing Co, from Falmouth in Cornwall, really don’t need an introduction. They are the creators of some of the finest hoppy pales, juiciest New England IPAs and stunningly rich Imperial stouts in the UK. Since pairing up with Pressure Drop to open The Experiment in Hackney, and following on from an extremely successful Crowdfunder these guys will be moving to the next level once their new brewery opens.
Alongside Verdant we are very happy to be hosting Suffolk’s own Burnt Mill Brewery. Focused on producing fresh, unfiltered beer, head brewer Sophie De Ronde has been turning heads with her perfectly balanced beers. Finally to round off the Triple Whammy we’ll be hosting Left Handed Giant, one of Bristol’s top breweries in a city of amazing breweries.
Also fresh from a successful crowd funding campaign Left Handed Giant Brewing Co. are poised to expand their operation into a brand new restaurant, bar and event space venue. The existing brewery will become a mixed fermentation specific facility with a coolship and an extended barrel and foudre store.
Damn yes. We will have four to six kegs from each brewery across the weekend so come and get your fill!

@brewyonder Autumn 2018 Loop 4.8% Greengage & foraged wild thyme saison ... . Appearance is bright straw yellow with slight haze & super effervescent. . Aroma is a blend of citrus and light barnyard with distinct herb notes lingering in the finish. . Flavour is astonishingly complex yet light & spritzy. Light bready backbone complements a really pleasant, light acidity. Wild Thyme and Greengage add loads of depth to the lingering, refreshing finish. . This is a very, very good beer. Extremely well balanced from a brewery that will make big waves for sure in 2019. I had very few saisons or sours of this quality in all of 2018!

Oh my @northernmonk & @eviltwinbrewing this is just plain naughty.
EVEN MORE DEATH - a decadent toasted coconut, vanilla and cacao Imperial Stout coming in at cheeky 12% abc. . Appearance is think, dense black. Like an oil slick black. Generous head was the result of a vigorous pour and lingered.... . Aroma is a full on assault of roasted malts with coffee & chocolate all vying against rich dark fruits and a subtle toasted coconut lingering on the finish. . Flavour is rich and complex. High roasty bitterness, cocoa & full on dark fruit. I would personally like more coconut but I’m a Bounty fiend 🥥 . Would definitely drink by the case, or attempt to at least.

This is an absolutely marvelous place with a mind boggling selection of beer. Recommended whole heartedly.

Such a great location, space is generous, beer list fab, fridges pack with an Aladdins Cave of bottled beauties. I'll be back with my Beer Brethren 👍🍻😎

Probably the biggest variety of Belgium, German and some excellent house own recipe beers and ales. Friendly staff and good atmosphere. What else would one need to enjoy a pint or a few? Highly recommend!

Great place to spend an afternoon with friends. They have a great selection of beers, something for everyone, and some interesting and tasty bar snacks. The staff are great, service is quick and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

Excellent newcomer in an upcoming area of London, easily reached by Overground. Varied tap and draft offer, as well as an impressive range of bottles and cans in the fridge. Cheese and cold cut plates. Helpful staff. And it looks great as well. Definitely worthy of a visit.
