A big well done to Will who won at our Captain’s Day and was our youngest player on the field! Hope everyone enjoyed the Hog Roast and disco, thank you for everyone who came and helped raise money for the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance 🚁

As many of you are aware our Assistant Professional Connor Ashby took part in the National Assistant Championships last week, after a disappointing opening round of +9 over Connor left himself too much to do on the second day and missed the cut. He did give the second round a great run as many of the members who watched the scoreboard live saw Connor go -2 through his first 11 holes with the cut being at +6 over. Unfortunately after the cut dropped to +5 over Connor pushed to make a good back nine score and it wasn't meant to be, Connor would like to thank you for the support that was given during and after the event when he came back to work.
We would like to say well done to Connor from all the team here at Beeston Fields! Even though it was not the result he wanted it was a great experience!

i went there with the University of Nottingham golf club. The course condition is excellent. Beautiful and memorable environment.

What a great venue for my brother in laws wedding (kim & John Bradbury)

Went for dinner today at 15.00, 3 adults, 2 children and 1 pensioner and I have to say it was brilliant. From being seated at the table to ordering and being served. The staff was extremely helpful especially Aaron. The food was yummy and so much choice for the carvery (I especially loved the red cabbage). Will definitely be back when I'm next in Ilkeston. Thank you.

This place is amazing.. great view while eatting our meal.. staff friendly , polite and helpful .. meal excellent for money ... highly recommended.. Will defo go again

My son has just joined the junior section so its a good excuse to get out and experience new places for food and drink,and I must say this has to be the best carvery lunch I've ever had and of good value.

Excellent service and the club house has had a brand new fit out.

Lovely surroundings, gorgeous food and very attentive waiter. We had a fabulous family birthday celebration lunch. Thank you.

Great Course, Great setting, very welcoming staff and members, lovely practice facilities, course is lovely and very well laid out for all standards of golfer, lovely very tricky to read Greens all year round, , excellent 19th hole food is always fantastic and the building and grounds have great character. I have loved playing at Beeston Fields in the past.

Afternoon tea for two - excellent selection food, plentiful supply of tea, pleasant surroundings, service was first class. An ideal location for family get togethers over Sunday lunch or afternoon tea. Highly recommend. Gift Vouchers available too.

I've been here mainly for social functions rather than golf, it has been refurbished the food is good and the surroundings are pleasant I wouldn't go out of my way for it but you could do a lot worse.

I was really looking forward to spoiling my partner for his birthday with the Champagne breakfast, especially after reading the great reviews about the food and the venue on here, so we were disappointed when it was not up to scratch. Although service was attentive, we were seated on a table next to the door squashed right next to a bigger party (which when asked to move they lifted the whole table rather than reset another/wouldn't let us sit where we chose despite an empty restaurant!) and the food was not great at all. The breakfast was basic, the bacon was burnt, and they made a half-effort with meeting my pre-informed dietary requirements but the replacement avocado was paste and did not taste fresh and no replacement was offered for any pastries provided as they had not thought about that element in advance and then didn't bother to do so when we were there. No toast was included in the "Array of pastries, toast and preserves" either which would have made it ok. The "Champagne" breakfast should also not be called as such because you don't get Champagne, it's Prosecco which is an entirely different drink. Overall, "half-effort" with every element summed up our experience and I'm sorry to say I wouldn't recommend it, and I hope the venue notes my points for the sake of future customers.
