I started going to the gym when I was 28 and I had no idea what I was doing. As a beginner I found it very intimidating looking at all the equipment and trying to make sense of it for the first time. I had no idea where to start. I spent about a year watching YouTube videos, getting advice from others and reading articles on the internet. I found a lot of these gave conflicting advice on how to start and noticed that the gym industry is completely directed at people who already know what they are doing. As time went on, I started to understand what I was doing and I got into the best shape of my life when I turned 30 and at the end of 2021, I became a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and a member of the Association of Independent Personal Trainers (AIPT). I was determined to help people in the same position that I was, so I became a Strength and Conditioning Coach, specializing in teaching beginners. I found the biggest challenge for most beginners when they decide to change to a healthier lifestyle is the number of things, they are told to drastically change. Beginner Fitness plan starts right at the beginning of the journey, building confident gym foundations with the fitness fundamentals and helping you with one of the biggest challenges when getting into fitness. Establishing a routine and consistency.
