Beijing Chef

Ordered our food and told 45mins till delivery. Phone an hour later to be told our food hasn't even been cooked and will be another 25 mins! But can I come and get it...... I advised no and want compensation for our food being a minimum 1 hour late and they advised a free drink. Push further and got a discount on our order, actually waiting to see if that actually happens and see if our food does infact turn up. What AWFUL customer service. No phone call to say they would be late, I had to phone them and no apology just them saying we are busy, we are busy. This is not the 1st time this has happened either. 3 for 3 so far so never ordering here again and I would advise you do not either.

Terrible, have ordered in on a few occasions and each time they are always late requiring a phone call to chase up our order, by the time we receive it the order is cold or clearly been sat around a while. Or they go over their delivery time and when I call it turns out they have completely forgotten to cook our order!
Then play dumb on the phone to try and get out of giving any form of good will gesture for the poor service.
Avoid if possible!!!!

used to really like the food from here but the last meal i had has made me ill. the chicken curry had a fishy twang both my wife and i have bad stomachs the following day. never again.

Ordered from here Friday night placed an order at 7pm and it didn't arrive until 8:45pm. When it arrived the only nice thing about it was the crispy duck. The beef in the beef and black bean sauce was so chewy we couldn't even eat it. We ended up throwing most of it out. Very disappointing when you look forward to having a Chinese from a new place.

Tasty food delivered on time to our hotel would have given 5 stars but ribs to salty and preferred ones from our local at home but it was a lovely meal overall.

Just ordered food for collection, and was shocked to see one of the owners/managers children behind the counter with her (not in the cooking area) but with her hands down either her pants or nappy!
This alarmed me so immediately I asked if the children go any further into the work place!!
The women proceeded to tell her daughter to take it out, not touching her hand but arm in very close proximity the contaminated area.
She didn't not wash her hands before handing me my food (All in containers)
This does fill me with confidence that hygiene standard are possibly not being met in other areas of the establishment.
I understand jungling a family and work can be challenging but food safety guidelines should adhered to at times, at that point it made me question, how many times she touches her children and then possibly go into the food area in any one day!!!
Out of politeness I still paid for my food, but at that point completely put off!!!
Once home and thought about what just happened, I called and ask about food hygiene ratings and following procedures, this is when the women said " we are very busy restaurant , the children do not go beyond to counter" which if fine but even by her touching the child that had her hand around fease, she can surely cause cross contamination!! Which could lead to serious illness.
Needless to say I put the food straight in the bin and will not be ordering again!!
I am one very unhappy customer that is very hungry now, but completely put me off ordering any kind of fast food for today!!!

Ordered on just eat app and the estimated delivery time was 7.30pm. By 7.45 it wasn't here so I rang the takeaway phone number which was always engaged. Finally I got through to the ringing line and I was waiting for about 2 minutes for someone to answer. Then when they finally answered, they said they would give me 10% discount which the driver will give me in cash. When it finally arrived the lady asks for the £17 to which I said I had already paid by card for this on the just eat app. I said that the person at the takeaway said they would contact the driver to say about the 10% so they know to give it to me but she knew nothing at all and spoke very little English. Then she said she had to call her manager and she got in the car. I was waiting for her to come back but I lost patience and I was so hungry so I went inside to eat and then she drove off! Not great I definitely could have gone somewhere else with better service.

Best Chinese takeaway by far. Never order from anywhere else. Great food and great service 😊

Good food, good value, great vegetarian range

I don't generally like Chinese takeaway but this place is an exception. Great food and service and fast delivery. The only place I order from when I fancy Chinese food.
