This bank holiday weekend! Kicks off with live music from Owen Hackett & Dan O'Farrell on Thursday as well as our now infamous Steak n mussel Night. Burning Sky TTO all weekend and DJ's galore finishing with a Sunday full of Balearic beats with Martin & Fazz and our Open Mic Jam on Sunday evening!

We are absolutely blown away to be able to showcase one of our favourite breweries and blenders at B&B this Weekend! Being a leader in brewing Belgian style beers in the UK it's no surprise that Burning Sky are always in our specials fridges and on our taps. This Weekend for the summer bank holiday we will have a smorgasbord of keg and bottled beauties alongside a specials menu of Burning Sky inspired food! There will be live music & Dj's Thursday, Friday and Saturday and plenty of beer, food and music in fully air-conditioned comfort all weekend!

This time next week we will be well into our Burning Sky TTO and getting ready for Fazz & Martin to take us on a laid back Sunday afternoon ride of Balearic beats. We will be open both in the cellar and The Brasserie. As well as the best beers in the world we will be launching our new mini cocktail menu in The Brasserie, get 25% off a cocktail when you order a Sunday roast or main meal until 6pm. Music from 1pm, food served 12-6pm Great vibes all day!

As it's bank holiday we are doing something a little special for the Open Mic next week. A later start of 8.30pm and more of a jam style session for this week only. We will have bass and keys alongside the usual guitar, mic and cajon so more fun to be had! To be part just book a spot by messaging The Fake Shakes. Time is flying and our Burning Sky TTO is almost upon us. We have 6 kegs and 5 bottles to share over the weekend. Live music Thursday, & Sunday evenings and DJ's Friday & Sat and Sunday afternoon. Al has laid on a Burning Sky inspired food menu too. I can't wait to try his Petite Saison beer can chicken!

Visited here on Saturday eve with my fiancé. This cool, contemporary venue really impressed us both.

We went for 3 courses...starters; crab dressed in chilli & lime. Small but perfectly formed & every bite was an explosion of flavour.

Mains we had the chicken & Bulgur wheat. This had a real tasty kick to it.

Dessert; Eton mess with a difference as it was a little piece of contemporary art on a plate again, packed full of lots of tangy flavours.

We met owners Jack & Alan (chef) who are passionate about their food, wine & extensive range of Belgian beers. All served by our waitress Ellie who was very attentive.

Jack talked us through the wines (i personally recommend the Sauvignon balance produced in France by a New Zealander)

Alan took the time to come out of the kitchen & chat with the punters to get feedback on his food which I thought was a great touch...Respect!

We then popped downstairs for a cheeky G&T & listened to the DJ playing some very cool old skool jazz funk tunes! Age group was a real mixture which was perfect for us very young at heart, middle aged revellers! Very relaxed atmosphere too! This cool, hip little venue is currently Southampton's best kept secret but I am sure it will be uncovered as the place to be seen very soon!!! Well done �

Top beer choices, great food menu and good local djs playing vinyl in the background. This is a cool place to come to in Southampton.

Hands down the best place in Southampton for a Sunday roast! Lovely music, lovely staff and overall great atmosphere. The other food is great too! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Great food (ribs just fell apart) and great booze. Beers are strong and tasty; great selection of gins, even had Boe Violet 👍

Great atmosphere and brilliant range of beers. We tried the tasting boards...super delicious and great value for money.

Found this little gem this weekend after visiting the area. Had such a fab evening , great gins in the gin bar , lots to choose from , the beer selection is overwhelming and the staff friendly and accommodating and the food extremely yummy! The manager Jack was particularly attentive and our waitress Ellie explained anything we asked. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area !

Excellent on many levels. I love Belgian beer and was very excited when I Stumbled across this place! The beer selection was very good, food was outstanding and the staff are great! If I lived in Southampton I'd be here all the time.

Well worth a visit for food! They also sell lots of Gin's & Belgium beers (as well as plenty of other booze).

Always enjoy this place. Superb beers for all tastes & the times I've been in the guys behind the bar know the beers when asked about them! Doubly sold on the non alcoholic selection of drinks offered which is a huge recognition to the ones that don't drink but enjoy good places �

Always a good range of ales available and the staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable on what is to offer. Highly recommended.

Friendly and efficient service, excellent array of Belgian beers and mind-boggling choice of gins... and very good food. Well, the burgers were anyway, with excellent onion rings. We'll have to try other dishes another time. Apparently they do music too, but we weren't around for that. Well definitely come again.

Like the gin bar, however, was in very early but nowhere to sit. Not keen on their choice of beers.

Has always been one of my favourite places to drink, however after the experience I've had tonight, my expectations of this place. The obnoxious guy behind the bar was quite possibly the rudest service over ever had. After simply asking if I could have a sample of one of the beers on tab before ordering it (which I don't believe is a ridiculous thing to ask) he simply said 'no'. After further debate about the situation, he proceeded to then go call me 'princess' which I found extremely offensive. You could see his embarrassment in his face when he said it but for me that was the final straw.



Not entirely sure I will return, however have never had any issues with the other staff there when I've been in, actually very friendly with one of the owners who always makes the effort to come over and chat with us whenever we're in. Shame that there are people that are out to potentially ruin businesses like this.

Visited this bar last night with a group of 10 family members . It would have been an enjoyable night had it not been for the rude attitude of the bar staff , one male in particular would not accept the fact the vodka tasted strange and said choose another drink if you don't like it !! He was unbelievably rude and was not interested in helping. Will not be returning.
