The last few weeks have sent shock waves through us all. So much to take in. So much to change. Even when we do go back to 'normal' it wont be the same normal. * We have 2 choices 1) Fight against it 2) Go with it
... It can be human nature to fight against things we dont like and don't want. And that is great when we have an option. * But right now we don't. Life has changed and the sooner we accept it and find a way to embrace it the happier and healthier we will be. * It wont be easy and it wont happen over night but small changes to how we do things can help us make peace with the current situation. * ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธSetting a time to do a daily home workout ๐Ÿ’œArranging a group call with your family/friends ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธMeditating instead of TV ๐ŸŽจGetting crafty instead of going out
What could you do this week that will make staying home a lot more enjoyable?

Good morning ๐Ÿ˜
Nel is ready for our 9.30am session ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป Here is to a great week

OK Achievers we are heading in to week 3 of isolation.
Let's face it, the last 2 weeks have been a bit of a shock/blur/alcohol haze/living on biscuits/ what day is it kind of mess ๐Ÿ˜‚
If we are going to get through this healthy & happy then it's time to set some real structure
... If you are at home, how can you organise your morning to help maintain focus?
I'll be honest I have been very hit and miss the last couple of weeks. I teach the 9.30am session online, sometimes I got up and had breakfast before, sometimes I managed a dog walk, other days I was rushing to get up and dressed in time ๐Ÿ™ˆ
So I i have a new plan moving in to week 3 Monday - Friday.
Now it would be tempting to go the whole hog, and create a super-detailed timetable and no doubt overwhelm myself and then do bugger all ๐Ÿ˜‚
So instead I've made 3 promises to myself
#1 I will get up 8am each day #2 I will meditate first thing (I use the Calm app to help) # I will walk Nel before the 9.30AM online HIIT session
Just 3 simple things but as they are done at the start of the day they will set my day up well and I know they will lead to a healthy, happy daily routine.
What is your morning routine for the next week? Could you set 3 targets to help give you more structure?

This is the Believe & Achieve Wheel of Success and the blueprint to the B&A programme.
This process doesn't change, regardless of the challenging times are all facing, we just need to tweak it.
Your goals may be very different now. Goals to help maintain your stress levels, your happiness, your mind set are even more important now.
... The brain works best when it has focus so by creating a small achievable goal for each day or each week you have a far greater chance of having a happier time in isolation.
Maybe your goal is to learn to meditate? Or ensure you get your outside exercise each day? Maybe you could set a goal for getting the garden tidy?
Maybe at the start of the year we had goals to lose a certain amount of weight? Or achieve a challenging fitness goal? But we have been hit with a huge curve ball and we need to make peace with the fact that goals may well change.
Its all ok ๐Ÿ’œ
1) A small goal 2) Set for the week 3) Know you can and will do it 4) Nourish your body with healthy food 5) Get your daily exercise in
And then at the start of the week we go again :)
Focusing on this small positive cycle could help you get through this in a much healthier and happier way
What could your small goal for next week be?

So we are just starting week 2 of a very different way of living. It's been a huge shock to us all, but the more we can learn to go with the changes, the easier the next few weeks will be.
I will be doing lots of work on the business but I know if I don't watch myself then ALL I will do will be work and I will struggle to ever switch off ๐Ÿ˜ฃ
We need options and ideas to help and here is my mini action plan ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
... I have downloaded the Calm app and started the 30 day meditation programme. Meditation has been on my to-do list for sooooooo long. I know how beneficial it is but I still never manage to get round to it ๐Ÿ˜• So help is needed. This app is a great way to show me what to do and give me focus to keep going.
I have a little goody bag of activities! Crosswords, quiz, cross stitch, suduko and even knitting ๐Ÿ˜ A whole mix of stuff to help switch off and get a little creative
And I have signed up for an online course NLP masterclass. 2 hours a week over the next 7 weeks. I love learning about how the mind works so what better time to do it.
What is your mini action plan for getting through the next few weeks as healthily as possible?

Monday Morning Measures
Each week we are encouraging our clients to update their measures on our app.
Now I want to stress, I totally appreciate we are in difficult times and there are currently far more important things than the size of our hips.
... But our ladies have worked so hard over the last few years and months to โœ…Improve their strength โœ…Increase their fitness levels โœ…Build their stamina โœ…Improve muscle tone โœ…And find their health and happiness
We are here to ensure they don't undo all that great work.
We dont rely on the weighing scales at Believe & Achieve to assess our progress, we use the tape measure and how our clothes feel. Trouble is now I am only in my dog walking clothes, gym gear or pjs - all lovely and comfy but very easy to lose track on what is happening to our bodies ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
So each week we are encouraging our ladies to check in with the tape measure so they maintain focus and keep progress coming.
You worked hard from the start of this year to improve your health, fitness and happiness. What can you do to ensure that work isn't undone? Small steps can bring great change over time.
If you need any help keeping your focus please get in touch ๐Ÿ’œ

"I can't belive how much I ache after the HIIT sessions"
When you are used to training in a fully equipped gym it is understandable to think a bodyweight workout won't be as effective.
But our clients have learned this week that a well planned HIIT session can really hit the spot ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป
... A 30 minute sessions 3 or 4 times a week can have great impact.
And all from your front room ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป

All our clients now have 3 personal workouts available to them. They are able to hit 'Play' and the video talks them through the whole workout, every exercise and every rep.
We can keep upping the challenges each week so there will be zero loss in progress for our clients even in these challenging circumstances ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป

Music is brilliant for lifting your mood :)
The right song can have you dancing round your kitchen forgetting all your problems even if just for a few minutes.
What is your happy song? Wouldn't it be great if we got a list of songs that could create a playlist for when we are feeling a little down.
... I could pick loads, but I will start with my school-love The Pet Shop Boys and Always on my mind ๐Ÿฅฐ
What's yours?

In these crazy times I cant remember the last time I wore make up or clothes that weren't gym gear, dog walking or pjs!
It is so easy to stop bothering - and I want to be clear here this is all about me and how I feel, not trying to impress others. But when I don't take any time to look after myself it has a huge knock on effect to my mental health.
It is important to take some time for looking after you. It may be a ... ๐Ÿ›€๐ŸปBubble bath ๐Ÿฅฐface mask ๐Ÿ›early night ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿปmanicure
or a pedicure which is what I am going to treat myself to tonight ๐Ÿ’œ
You are dealing with a strange and challenging situation right now and it is vital you give yourself some timeout.
What are you going to do to look after yourself this week?

One day at a time ๐Ÿ’œ
In these challenging times it can be so easy to be overwhelmed with worry and stress.
I find myself in the 'What if...โ€ฆ?' mode ๐Ÿ˜ต
... But the truth is no one has the answers. We don't know how this will all go.
