We've looked into it, and here's the definitive list of reasons why gelato is quite simply better than ice cream (that’s it, it’s settled)!
... 1. Brain freeze, what brain freeze? Due to its dense nature gelato is served at a lower temperature to ice cream, meaning those pesky brain freezes are a thing of the past.
2. Gelato contains less fat (we’re not lying!) It sounds too good to be true but this delicious Italian treat actually contains less fat than normal ice cream. Fact.

4. Just keep churning! Gelato is churned slower and longer, so it has a denser, more intense texture.
5. YUMMIER 🙂 Because of how it’s made most people agree that gelato packs more of a flavour punch than its American ice cream counterpart. The density means it’s more colourful too- meaning your tongue can be stained whatever colour you want!
