A couple of the things we've been getting up to at Belle Vue recently! Our animal friends visit at least once a month whilst baking and flower arranging are weekly activities, but not the only ones! At Belle Vue we like to offer a range of activities to support our residents wellbeing such as crafts, sensory 1:1, reminiscence time, poetry and reading, balloon volley ball, quiz afternoons, hair & nail appointments, gardening and more 😊🐰🍦🎾🧸📰💜

Flower arranging at Belle Vue is a weekly activity that the residents enjoy, bringing colour into their cafe space! Thank you as well to Rowcroft Hospice for some of our lovely flowers over the last month or so! 🌺⚘🌻

We are pleased to show you the full transformation of the reception area located on the ground floor of Belle Vue Care Home. No longer will you have to take the steep steps and walk through the resident lounge space when arriving, you are now welcomed to Belle Vue at the designated reception. You will be greeted by our lovely Administrator, Sandra, who will be happy to sign you in and show you around. You have access to the lift or stairs, which ever is your preference.
Tak...e a look at the pictures, we think it’s given Belle Vue a great ‘face lift’ to an area not previously used by residents or their visitors.

Seeds planted with school pupils from Collaton St Mary on Monday are already sprouting! We can’t wait to have some more colour in the garden this Spring 🌸🌺

Today we celebrated Nutrition and Hydration week with a tea party! We had a smoothie station promoting delicious hydration and cupcakes for all our dietary needs! We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and learned something new about the importance of nutrition and hydration in our day to day lives ☺️🧁🍎🍊

Belle Vue Care Home have awarded two members of staff this quarter with a ‘Helping Hand Award’ for their hard work shown over the past few months. Carmen Ballard and Sandra James joined Belle Vue Care Home within the last 6 months and have shown what assets they have become within their roles to the whole team. As a way of thanking both, they have received a voucher for a few hours of extra paid time off. Whilst off, Ruth Roman (Home Manager) and Paula Melut (Deputy Manager) will cover their work and job roles to ensure the home continues to operate to the high standards even whilst they are taking time off. Well done ladies and Thank you!

Congratulations to Sally for raising such an incredible amount for a charity so dear to all our hearts, Sally wanted to say a big thank you to all who donated but also a huge thank you to Harbour Healthcare for doubling her final donation raising it from £850 to a big £1700! Well done to all involved 😃

A big thank you to the Berry Pomeroy Handbell Ringers for coming and doing a lovely Christmas performance for our residents yesterday! ⭐️🎼

Feeling festive here at Belle Vue! Our Christmas post box has been delivering lovely cards and gifts to our residents throughout December, whilst the decorations keep sparkling! Happy holidays everyone ☺️⭐️🎄

Belle Vue Care Home team members show their abilty to go over and above every day, however, 6 team members have gone that extra mile recently. A little gesture to say “THANK YOU” has been given to these individuals in the way of a ‘Helping Hand’ award. We believe that positivity and gratitude goes a long way especially, when working to help others as our team does every day. Thank you to everyone at Belle Vue for your hard work and dedication, keep up the good work. If you want to nominate a team member, you can do so by writing a ‘Moments that Matter’ card. These can be found at the administrators office at Belle Vue and popping them in the suggestion box. Well done to the 6 unsuspecting awardees!

Armistice (Remembrance) Day is coming up this Sunday the 11th, it's been 100 years since the end of WW1. We will be remembering with our residents. Don't forget you can get your poppy from us and give something back to the British Royal Legion. - Thank you
