My husband-to-be visited Belles Bridal with his bridesmaids, trying to please everyone is difficult enough but when one of the people is my husband, well..!



Pleased to say they all had a great time, were made to feel really welcome by the staff who were friendly and professional and ended up with perfect dresses that were comfortable and also looked great on the day. I’d happily recommend Belles and thanks to the team for making my husband happy and our wedding even more special.

My daughter and I visited here yesterday, for her first look around at wedding dresses. The lady who helped us was so knowledgeable, helpful and lovely in every way. There was a fabulous variety of dresses. We will be back!

I went in looking for a prom dress after being to a few shops with no luck. The ladies in the shop were very friendly and made me and my mum feel comfortable. I found a dress for a good price and would definitely recommend this shop!!

I purchased my absolutely amazing wedding dress from this bridal shop in April... All alterations were carried out after changing quiet abit of the style, No job was to big.... I'm so pleased that the staff helped me through just a stressful time x

I had a fantastic experience choosing my wedding dress at Belles. Choosing a dress was a daunting task but I was quickly made to feel ease by the level of professionalism offered at Belles. I felt safe in the knowledge that their expertise would ensure that I would find my perfect dress. During the selection of the dress I was able to try on many different styles and was even shown how small modifications could alter the overall impact of the dress. Everyone was very attentive and I was given very honest advice on what would suit me and the winter wedding I was planning. I found my dream dress on my first visit but waited for my second visit to validate my decision with my bridesmaids to buy the dress. I felt confident of my choice because Belles had invested time to work out what worked best for me. Belles also arranged the alterations needed to fit the dress, I’m a short lady so several inches needed to be removed from the hem of the dress. They explained in detail the process that would be followed to do this and I felt in safe hands from the start. I had an amazing wedding day, and this in part is due to the stunning dress I had - I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for me. The whole process was far more enjoyable than I possibly imagined and I loved every minute of wearing my dress on the day. I would thoroughly recommend Belles to any future brides seeking their perfect dress

Since my first visit all the staff made me feel super special - just as you would hope as a bride to be. My dress was an absolute dream and the fittings were not only easy but fun to go to. The staff were so kind and remembered me each time - making me feel so comfortable and welcome. I couldn’t recommend Belles enough - I love my dress and wish I could wear it every day! � Thank you for your support and interest throughout the process. �

I got married October last year and made a lot of changes to my dress from the day I bought it - up to the week of my wedding. Belles dealt with this amazingly well and listened to exactly what I wanted - the end result was just what I wanted. Denise was so patient with me and made me feel at ease through the whole process.

I also bought my flower girl dress from them and they made a sash to match my colour theme which looked stunning and with the remaining material suggested making a tie for my page boy. I really felt they went above and beyond to help make my wedding day truly magical and all I had envisioned.

They also have stunning shoes and accessories which I purchased. The dress, shoes and accessories all came together so well on the day.





I would highly recommend Belles as my experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Everyone was just fantastic at Belles, but especially two I spent more time with: Becki, who didn't care that I tried the same dress on a million times because I wasn't sure, was giving me hope as a fellow slimming world buddy and just made the whole experience calming and easy. I was booking in on a Saturday on purpose as it was the only day she was in. Denise, our evening chats about all and anything made the process more like you were chatting to your friends rather than a business transaction. You can tell the store cares about their brides and with a smaller boutique you really get that 1-2-1 time. Thank you for all your help, everyone blubbed over the dress it was perfect. Absolutely can not say enough wonderful things about the ladies at Belles. I purchased my dress 10 years ago from the shop and renewed my vows this year (getting bridesmaid dresses) and the service and kindness of the ladies was above and beyond. Thank you ladies xxxx

Total shambles. I was recommended Denise (the owner) by a friend. Unfortunately in my four visits to the shop over a 6 month period, she never made an appearance - and the other staff I met along the way all seemed fairly incompetent, and like they made things up as they went along. The first lady I met, who ordered two bridesmaid dresses for me, booked a fitting appointment, told me the dates that the dresses would be in, and also told me (when asked) that standard alterations were included in the cost of the dresses.

Weeks later, a phone call came that she had been wrong about when the dresses would arrive, and therefore the fitting would need to be moved - first stressful piece of info! The first fitting was now only 3 weeks before the wedding...

Next phone call - might I add, one day before the original fitting had been due - good news, the dresses have arrived!! Different staff member again, different story again. Too late to move the fitting now though, as fully booked. Excellent!

The fittings went well when they came, and I was asked for full payment - at this point, I will tell you I had made two payments, both on a credit card (as with most of my wedding purchases).

Final fitting arrives, and I am asked for £90. For what I hear you ask? Those standard alterations that were “included” in the overall price. 5 days before the wedding, I wasn’t going to argue.....and produce my credit card for the final payment. Oh no, THIS payment has to be CASH. What?! Whoever heard of something so ridiculous and illegitimate?? Panicked and under pressure, of course, for the sake of my bridesmaids being clothed, I pay, but not without making my feelings quite clear. Since that day, I have asked 3 times for a receipt of that cash payment, and funnily enough no one has come back to me.

So unprofessional, luckily for me the only supplier to have caused me any stress at all, but I would definitely recommend avoiding if you are (like I was) a stressed and vulnerable bride to be!

I have just been in to this shop with 2 of my bridesmaids firstly the service was shocking

Secondly how dare you discriminate against a male in the shop and be asked to leave I am

A gay male getting married next year have been out all day with my bridesmaids at several shops and have been treated as a human

It’s people like this business that is wrong with the world the behaviour they gave me was discussing and had no excuses I WILL NOT be recommending this place to any one and I will not let it lie there poor choice rude stuck up homophobic staff it has ruined what was suppose to have been an amazing day out for us I’m
