This is the best eating house I have been in for a while. Me and my wife were celebrating our wedding anniversary. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the food and flavours were out of this world. I would highly recommend this eating house to anyone thinking of going here 5 ☆☆☆☆☆.....

This is one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had....the food and presentation is excellent. The pub is a little dated and requires refurbishment BUT I would not let that put me off returning. All the food is 5 star presentation and quality......Could be the fact that The owner is a French chef . It's also very rare to be asked how you would like your meat cooked.... great when I like medium rare and my husband likes well done. Prices are excellent for the quality and presentation . Mother's Day 3 course was £23.50 so not sure if that's more expensive because it was Mother's Day but I would gladly pay that every Sunday here. Well done. Service is also excellent too

Stunning food. Friendly chef who cared that we loved it. Party of 21 served superbly well. Will be back to this gem again. Recommend the blade of beef.

Only popped in for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon but couldn't resist something from the fantastic menu. We had a beautiful lamb and stilton main course and the girls had a children's roast with the best Yorkshire puddings ever! Well done to all of the Bellmans Cross team.

Excellent service, excellent food and an 'all too rare now' English country feel... we love this restaurant and Dominique's food is always predictably high quality, hot when it's served (and meant to be) and more than tasty! Beth says that a restaurant can be judged by the quality of its Creme Brulee... just try it and see!!! Restaurants are about the food and Dominique's food is fantastic. See you there!!

Excellent food and drink the "Blade of beef was to die for!!" cannot recommend the restaurant or the staff enough, very enjoyable evening had by my wife and I on our anniversary.

A fabulous place to eat, food was delicious and waiting staff were so friendly and helpful too! Would defiantly return to eat here again and will be very much recommended to friends. 😀🍷

Starters were nice but ordered a sirloin steak for main meal. What I believe I received was a piece of scotch fillet steak very thin and well over cooked. When we questioned the waiter he said that’s what the butcher supplied.

Booked a table for my wife and I and was surprised we got in at only 24 hours notice, it's been a few years since our last visit and you always had to book well in advance then. On arrival we found the staff friendly and welcoming, we were showed to our table where you can see the kitchen, our favourite part of the restaurant.

I was very pleased with every aspect of my meal, good well presented starter of scallops with chorizo followed a medium rare rib-eye cooked to perfection, finishing with a tasty and well presented orange tart. My better half didn't fair so well - a gorgeous camembert starter followed by a medium sirloin stake perfectly cooked but it was really tough to cut and eat, I actually swapped half my steak with hers to help out. It was reported to the waitress, she said she would see the chef........... that was it, not impressed. I think we would still go again, but wouldn't wax so lyrical has we have in the past.
