We are delighted to announce that Belong Warrington will be supporting The Purple Angel, World Rocks Against Dementia (WRAD) Campaign. Join us in The Venue on Tuesday 26 March at 11am, when we will be using the power of music to help raise awareness and support those living with dementia and their families. We will be joined by charitable organisation, Music in Mind, who will be delivering a fun, interactive musical therapy workshop. There will also be an opportunity to meet with Belong's Experience Coordinator, Kerith Pepperdine, to find out more about the support available for people living with dementia through our bespoke day care service. We'll enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with plenty of entertainment for everyone, including a variety of craft stalls to browse, prize tombola and raffles, arts and crafts, clothing sale, face-painting and much more! Celebrate World Book Day during a visit to Warrington Museum on Thursday 7 March. We'll enjoy a guided tour of this historic building and visit the library, where there will be an opportunity to pick up your free library card. Take in the beautiful scenic views of Lymm and surrounding areas on two canal barge trips on Monday 25 March and Wednesday 10 April. We'll be leaving the village at 10:30am and returning at 4pm on both dates. Cost £15 each, which includes return transport from the village plus a packed lunch. Its a year to the day that my dad (Frederick Tyreman) died at belong Warrington and just wanted to take the time to thank again June, Kath, Mandy, Joanne, Arran and all the staff on Forshaw house for their support and care for both him and us while he was there.
