The Belper Community Cottage is a unique charity organisation for the assistance and support of the people of Belper and surrounding districts.

The Cottage originally opened (as Belper Cottage Project) in 1995 to provide an informal, welcoming and friendly central place for people to use its facilities.

The Cottage aims to provide accommodation with a welcoming atmosphere where friends or strangers, lonely or disadvantaged can feel relaxed and regain a sense of dignity.
