'bemassaged' was developed by Claire to not only offer holistic massage for both males and females but also a completely unique package for ladies in Yorkshire.

Pregnancy and motherhood is an extremely personal journey made up of physical and emotional change. Through specialist pregnancy massage available over all 3 trimesters, essential bonding time during baby massage, right up to when mum just needs some ‘me time’, Claire can assist this amazing journey through the medium of massage.

Swedish massage is the foundation for Claire’s holistic massage treatments but may also incorporate a blend of various techniques, to address the specific needs of the client. In general, the manipulation of the body’s soft tissue (i. e. the skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments and facia) using the hands is a gentle, flowing massage technique that uses varying degrees of pressure and stretching movements. It is most commonly used for relaxation and improving well-being.

Massage is not just a simple back rub, nor is it just a "luxury" or occasional "treat". Research tells us that massage therapy is a valuable component of a well-rounded healthcare regime, you do not need to be in pain or discomfort to benefit from massage therapy. In addition to being effective for pain relief, massage is also beneficial as a stress-reducing and wellness measure. In reality, massage therapy is an integral component of an overall health maintenance plan.

Claire is a qualified Massage Therapist who has completed an
ITEC Diploma in Anatomy, Physiology, and Holistic Therapeutic
Massage. Claire has also completed Diplomas in Baby Massage and is going on to study one of the most comprehensive Pregnancy Massage courses in the world (July 2014).

She completed her Holistic training at The Sylvia Brearley School of Therapies and is a licensee for Hands on Babies offering baby massage courses accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. Claire has also completed a Paediatric First Aid course.
