BEN is a blockchain energy software platform that allows for peer-to-peer energy trading from smart grid , energy storage , electric vehicle and rooftop solar panels. Using blockchain technology we empower households to trade their excess rooftop solar power with their neighbours. Our technology can also be used to trade renewable energy and environmental commodities. We want to create new markets for energy from renewable sources. Our energy trading software can be used to buy and sell electricity in real time. If you have solar panels or smart grid or electric vehicle on your home you can use our platform to sell excess energy to your neighbour. If you have battery storage you can store your energy and sell it at the peak to maximize your profit from the solar power you generate or from smart grid and electric vehicle. Similar to trading shares on a stock exchange you can set buy and sell prices so that you can trade energy at the right price for you.
