I would like to say a huge thank you to the NHS for the diagnosis and treatment my wife has received since she was rushed into hospital on Sunday morning. Luckily she was diagnosed with viral encephalitis and not Covid 19 and began treatment immediately. We are so lucky to have the NHS and the work they do. I will be ever in their debt.

Nearly the end of a great week in offering our complimentary services to Graham Wylie CBE Chair of the World Transplant Games 2019 to make his job a little easier in making it a huge success for our area. Sometimes it takes days like today to realise how lucky you are to live in the North East. I had a pick up from Gatwick off the 9:25 Orlando flight to comeback to Newcastle. Flight landed at 9:08 Result! Passengers and luggage in the car ready for the return journey at 10:05 Result! This is when it goes rapidly downhill. 90 mins to go M23 M25 passing Heathrow heading towards M40. Another 90 mins before stopping at Oxford services for a refreshment stop. More slow traffic on M40 and M42. M6 Toll Road absolute dream. A38 towards M1 not too bad. M1 slow all the way to M18 and A1. Only getting any real movement after getting to Wetherby. Eventually getting back to Newcastle at 20:35!!! I will never moan again about traffic in Newcastle!!!
Arrived at Crawley Travelodge ready for tomorrow’s pickup at Gatwick.
