About Bengaliness Research Initiative (Bri)

Bengaliness Research Initiative (BRI) is a voluntary research network working to form a real, futuristic and scholarly identity of Bengaliness for present and posterity. The initiative began its journey on 22 June 2019. The initiative currently consists of researchers, academics and enthusiasts from around the world; united by their love and commitment for Bengal and Bengalis. Different research projects are currently ongoing under five (05) different research themes, from supervision to field-work of which are carried out on a voluntary basis. All the necessary training and logistic supports for these projects are afforded from the donations made by the members. BRI welcomes any new project proposals those fall under its research themes. In that case, based on the membership application made by the interested researcher, the project is scrutinised and accepted. Furthermore, BRI welcomes individuals who intend to join as donor members for any ongoing projects. The organisation is also involved with relevant social activism; BRI welcomes membership applications from volunteers who are interested in these projects or to assist the creative and technical team of the organisation. Official motto: . . . what Bengal thinks today. . .
