Just great for brunch. Had the smoked salmon on sourdough with poached eggs and hollandaise and it was delicious! Sitting at a rustic table. Good service.

Gorgeous food and drinks. Super friendly and helpful staff who make you feel at home. Great quality and amazing brunch options. �

Chicken schnitzel was the absolute best! Steak was also amazing. Service was top class! Yum yum yum!

After visiting Ben's canteen for their bottomless brunch in October, I left quite unhappy with the experience however, I spoke to management about the issues and the customer service I experienced to rectify it was second to none. I really feel Ben's canteen deserves praise for the way they dealt with and rectified the situation.



For the bottomless brunch I had put in a pre-order for 15 people, some with dietary requirements. The order came out sporadically and some of the dietary requirements were missed. There were a few other issues however after compiling an email to management I received a response which couldn't have been better. Every issue I wrote about was acknowledged and time was taken to explain or apologise.



At the end of the email, I was offered a £40 voucher for a day of my choice to return to Ben's canteen. Slightly sceptical, we re-visited the weekend just gone and every single doubt I had about the restaurant vanished. The customer service was outstanding and I ate one of the tastiest burgers I have ever eaten in my life. This kind of customer service doesn't happen often and it just proves that a little bit of effort and care for your customers will go a long way. I now put the first visit down to Ben's canteen having an 'off day' Well done Ben's Canteen, I will 100% be visiting again!
