Bens Collectors Records established 1993 at 5 Tunsgate, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 3QT is a second hand music specialist and retailer of new railway books + dvds.

Ben has always been passionate about music, football and steam engines and has become good friends with local railway author Geoff Burch. Geoff was a fireman at Guildford MPD from 1961-67 before moving to Woking , then Effingham depots driving diesel and electric trains and has written 2 superb books on his and his colleagues reminicences from their steam days. Ben also stocks a fine selection of railway dvds from SVS Film of Farnham and Kngfisher Dvd of Weymouth and the superb Branch line Dvd series. Ben has written many reviews of his friends books and dvds and Bens dad has contributed some superb photographs of Guildford station to the Southern section of the superb David Hey Collection website that Geoff Burch runs. Several of Bens customers have contributed unseen railway photographs, slides and cine films which have been included in Geoffs fantastic railway talks and David Heys website. Ben often writes reviews of Geoff Burchs books in various railway magazines and is a regular contributor to the Surrey Advertiser letters page.
