Benson Hotel Blackpool

A very quick post. this week we have found out we have another benson in town.. Do not fret it don't do breakfasts and has no bar but is feeding off our ratings... Please if you do leave feed back for us and we do appreciate it.. Please make sure its for Benson hotel Derby Road North shore... We have reported the situation to booking. I'm not the greatest fan of shots or deeply intoxicating spirits but I was asked if I would like a sambuca this weekend... All I can say is never again how I got up to cook 22 breakfasts is beyond me but another lesson learned... Do not drink something you have never had in your life. About 10 litres of water later I am back in the land of the living and feel almost human tee hee. The weather has been spring like and a few times this week down to the light aspect and a lot o...f science we have been able to see the Isle of man it is such a marvelous vista on the horizon We went to see the worse film pokemon... My god unless you love him it's pretty boring but Island cinema in Lytham is brilliant to see films pretty cheap it's a small venue but shows all the top films well worth a visit on a rainy day. We are fully booked this weekend thank you for amazing feedback it makes us so happy to think you have enjoyed your stay and took time out of your busy days to write a review so thank you. It's been a fun few months at the B&B and we have made some fab mates I keep saying this but its true.. Salsa North East are staying this weekend I hope they enjoy their stay as I write they are out partying I seriously feel like cinderella.. Lol... So time has come to almost shut this page down I hope you will all join the next page even just to find out what's going on. We have been really busy and I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing support you have shown us I've made some fabulous friends when we started this we thought it would be just work but it is more then that you get to know the people who come and seriously some of you I wish could live with us forever they have come as strangers but left as ...a real mates, some have been truly wonderful characters whom I hope keep in touch forever. Its been a funny ol week with the guests coming and going every day has felt like a Friday but we have done a bit of out and about... Now I'm always on slimming world its the worst diet for me really as soon as so so much look in a deli shop my eyes have syned. Anyway so we went to Cleveleys, well this particular butcher/deli had a note from the Queen thanking them for the amazing award winning pie, well my having zero syns I went In to this beautiful shop untouched in years and got a 4oz pork pie which was award winning it came in parchment paper and was only £1,35 I said to evie we will eat a tiny bit... Well evie being almost vegetarian was almost to disgusted to look as I revealed the inside which was simply divine and took a bite... I must admit it would have been lush with a bit of salad but I couldn't wait. Cleveleys is the place which won me over when getting the benson.. That and Bispham as well as Fleetwood, Lytham and St Anne's it kinda reminded me of olde world seaside towns down south.The sun is setting and as I look out the window I see the Isle of man... You don't see it often we have seen it once since we been here..so I'm gonna leave it here for now next time I write it will be hopefully on our new page thank you all xxxx

Today for the first time you could see the Isle of man I really hope our guests see it at sundown this weekend.. You can only see it a few times a year.. Looking forward to looking after our guests this weekend it was busy but fun last weekend as it gets warmer its lovely to walk along the prom or chill out in a bar... We got a new whiskey today Jura... We also bought our first lot of pimms... Our mulled rums although still popular, sangria and jugs of cocktail flew out last week our cocktail of the week is a vodka based lovely called the bramble.. Right off I must go.. look out for a few really fab deals coming up for the summer goodnight all I'll write after the weekend

After we checked in our guests we decided we would go again to Lytham St Anne's this really is a beautiful seaside town a few miles south. We bought our girl and Glen some fish and chips and they happily munched away whilst taking in the last of the evening sunshine.tho breezy the wind seems warmer so hopefully we may have a lovely weekend. We are fully booked this weekend and thank you for all the support and amazing feedback I cannot tell you how much we appreciate it xx

Whenever Glen and I went away for a weekend apart from the anticipation of getting there and seeing what was on offer we always wondered what breakfast was like. Well here at the Benson after a hard night partying we like to help you soak up the excess.. Fresh hens eggs free range Lancashire bacon, sausages, Heinz bean, hash browns, Bury Black pudding, mushrooms, fried bread we offer this in vegetarian and slimming world versions.. So there really is something for everyone even kippers
