As we continue looking back this week to our BDC race meeting at Silverstone last Saturday, today we're sharing with you a host of shots from our hugely popular lunchtime Bentley Parade, which saw 100 Members' beautiful vehicles hit the track. There are some cracking cars here!

Our photographers were out and about at our BDC race meeting at Silverstone last Saturday capturing all the track action. Today we'll share with you a host of excellent images of our Members racing in the dedicated Bentley events. Tomorrow - the other races on the programme...

This gorgeous 1938 Bentley 4¼ Sports Cabriolet will join four other beautiful examples of the marque previously confirmed for this year’s Concours of Elegance, which will be held at glorious Hampton Court Palace on 1-2 September.
That quartet consists of: • 1949 Mk VI Special Lightweight H3 Mulliner Fixed-head Coupe Prototype • 1952 R Type DHC... • 1955 S1 Continental Coupe by Park Ward • 1956 S1 Continental Coupe by Park Ward
The BDC has also been invited to display 60 of its Members’ cars in the historic grounds alongside models representing a plethora of other famous marques.
A sure-fire highlight of the event will be ‘Bentley Sunday’ (in association with Bentley Motors) incorporating The Bentley Trophy – showcasing the marques finest examples covering all eras.

A couple of cracking shots here of our BDC Members en route to victory in their respective Bentley races at the BDC meeting at Silverstone on Saturday. Michael Higginbotham (Mk VI Special) leads a hard charging Tim Llewellyn (3/8 'Penny') and Vivian Bush (3 Litre) through Luffield in the Bentley Scratch, Pre-War Challenge and Sealed Handicap race. Many thanks to all the BDC Members and spectators who attended our 70th consecutive BDC race meeting at Silverstone on Saturday. We thought it was a hugely enjoyable day, with some cracking racing, some beautiful cars in our lunchtime Bentley parade and loads of attractions in the paddock. We hope you enjoyed it, too.
Many thanks also to all the traders who kindly supported us, Bentley Motors for their display and, of course, the marshals who, as ever, did an exemplary job.
