Would definately recommend recently had refurb very clean nice suroundings,friendly staff,steak was best ive ever had we all enjoyed our meal second time we have been now in last 2mths & we had the limoncello trifle which was so nice came in indivdual large glass dishes,spoilt for choice on menu so much to choose from.

Went for my baby shower here recently , was amazing in every way possible , new menu was lovely , host was very attentive , was made to feel very welcome and that nothing was too much for the staff to do. I would highly recommend this pub for great food and welcoming staff and atmosphere

Typical Beefeater restaurant (family based) but this one is very spacious. Fabulous meal at around 6pm, where we were able to enjoy the early evening specials - fish & chips (unlimited) for £5. Excellent & Friendly service too.

Not used this pub in a very long time. Went there tonight for a birthday meal. Seated straight away with no wait. Staff couldn't have done any more for us and were all pleasant and polite. Food all arrived within good time and to a high standard. Bottomless soft drinks extremely good value. Hope to return soon.

Had my 50th birthday meal here on Friday 18th May. Everyone got exactly what they ordered. Food came out at same time which is no mean feat for 24 people. Food was hot and we all cleared our plates. Service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Great family evening made possible by the great staff, lovely food, and a bit of wine to top it off. All very enjoyable

steak was appalling for the money spent, the service is terrible

We go to the one on A5 and it’s brilliant, this one is shocking !

Wouldn’t recommend

So disappointed with the food and the diabolical service today (Mother's Day). We had nearly an hour and a half wait between starter and main course!!! Trying to entertain a 9 month old and 3 year old for that length of time was exhausting. My daughter had to take the children outside because they were getting restless. No apology, nothing. The 3 year old didn't get a starter so waited the whole time .. Starving untill the mains came. I ordered the salmon with broccoli. The broccoli was so salty it was inedible so I just had salmon with cherry tomatoes basically. The waitress asked if the meals were okay, I told her I couldn't eat the broccoli because if the salt.. She did ask if I wanted more broccoli.. I said no we'd already waited far too long. We had to ask for cutlery for the mains. So disappointed.. My sons travelled for this meal too. £122.00. We often eat here so couldn't believe it.

Food put down in front of me without being asked if I wanted sauce or anything. Had to ask the guy who seemed busy explaining to several customers that they had run out of different things. He then came and asked me if I needed anything which he was told just the sauce. Food finished and still no sauce. I stay at a lot of Premier Inns and Beefeater used to be a great place to eat. Save your money and find a chippy.
