About Berkeley Gardens Day Nursery
We are a large Day Nursery in Reading Town centre. We care for children from 3 months to 5 years old. We accomodate a lovely Victorian Mansion and have a large garden with ample parking.
We are in addition to the successful Forbury gardens Day Nursery.

We are over the moon with the grading we received and are pleased to announce that we have been awarded an overall ‘Good’ grade with an ‘Outstanding’ element in Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare. On the day itself, we were immensely proud of our team and children, who handled the day with confidence and ease.
We were the first nursery in our group of Nurseries to be inspected using the new Common inspection framework which came into effect from September 2015.
We are so pleased that we have been awarded Outstanding in Personal Development, Behaviour and Welfare, we feel this is a true reflection of our team and how safe and secure the children feel here. The children's behaviour is a credit to you as supportive parents. The inspector spoke very highly of the staff and also the comments in which the parents made, that he spoke to on the day.
We would like to thank our team, our Parents and carers and children for your continued support to the nursery, I could not be prouder of the team we have.

TRAFFIC! There has been an accident on the Oracle roundabout, in which the IDR has had to close. Please be aware that there may be more traffic around Reading and if possible please leave slightly earlier to ensure you arrive in time to collect your children from Nursery. Many thanks!

Just a reminder... On Tuesday 23rd April we will be celebrating St George's Day. The children are invited to come dressed in Red and White.
Our fish have settled into their new tank very well and they now have their new names too, chosen randomly by the children. Our orange fish is called Delboy and our white fish is now called Jake. Thank you for all of the name suggestions. 🐠🐟
Just a gentle reminder that the Nursery is closed on Friday 19th April and Monday 22nd April for Easter. We will be open as usual on Tuesday 23rd April. We would like to wish all our families a very Happy Easter 🐥🐣
