New Expansion! (Part 1)
The area highlighted in red will be the finished build. The new building will have the same light and airy feel as the other half of the shop and we aim to have it open and back in action ready for the autumn. This area of the shop was the oldest standing section of our retail area, so we are excited to be bringing the building into the 21st century.
A new taller, area of the till side of our shop, and an extended bedding tunnel area are included withi...n the plans. There is a larger roller door on the front, to aid bringing in our stock on trolleys and different size benches throughout the seasons.
We have endeavoured to keep disruption to a minimum and hope all our customers have found their way around the diversions. (even our staff have gotten lost on occasion!)

We've been huge fans of Bernaville for years, loving the Christmas displays, the unusual gifts, the helpful staff, the coffee and cake... and today enjoyed the lovely bug trail around the nursery! At the end of it the children get a plant pot to decorate with the opportunity to take it back to the nursery to be put on display and some yummy marshmallows!

Thank you for a lovely morning!

We went for an afternoon tea which was lovely, everything was freshly made three different tyres of finger sandwiches smoked salmon minted cucumber baked ham and mustard, mini quiche, spinach and ricotta parcels cream and jam scones sausage rolls and a top plate of lots of different tyres of mini cakes it was all gorgeous would recommend to anyone. You need to book the day before and the garden centre itself is always an enjoyable afternoon x

We had 3 course Christmas lunch in the restaurant yesterday and it was exceptionally good value with attentive, friendly and faultless service. The food was better than a lot of chain pubs Xmas offerings and at a great value. Each aspect of the meal exceeded our expectations and made for an enjoyable Xmas lunch for two. My favorite bit was the delicious Christmas pudding, but the friendly atmosphere & wonderful service was a close second and added to the overall experience. Thank you, we will be back!

Love my saturday morning visits to the cafe with my grandparents. :)

User

I love Bernaville we go often. They always have an amazing selection of everything, The cafe is great a lovely space to relax & chat, I always shop for birthday presents or a treat for myself. The clothes are a tad expensive but are stunning & I always find something I love & just have to have. Christmas time is gorgeous the trees are displayed exceptionally well & the choice of decorations is out of this world. The thing I love the most is I can take my dog shopping. Unfortunately he is a small yorkshire terrier & is too small for the dog coats (which saves my Husband alot of money!) Bernaville is one of lifes great distractions that brighten up any day.

User

The shop & plant areas are amazing with a great variety of products at reasonable prices. The upstairs cafe was also great & had a good selection of gluten free cakes (not just the standard chocolate brownie) so I was able to have carrot cake for once. The staff in all these areas were friendly & helpful. The reason I have marked down what should be a 5* review is the restaurant. There are a few gluten free meal choices & a couple of gluten free cakes but strangely enough no gluten free bread so you can’t just have a sandwich. Most places seem to manage that even if they freeze the bread & then make toasted sandwiches. Not only that, when I asked if they had any gluten free bread available, the miserable food order staff just said NO is an almost shocked & disgusted manner & didn’t apologise or suggest an alternative. Extremely rude & disappointing considering the high standard of the rest of the place. My mother had a baguette & it looked like one of the part baked ones you heat up, but it was soggy & my son had a tuna baguette which was well filled, but there was no mayo in it so it was quite dry. Considering the earlier experience with staff we didn’t bother to complain at the time. I think you need to consider ordering gluten free bread & training your restaurant staff in communication skills!

We had a lovely time here until we got to the checkout and one miserable old bag was so rude to my child. Really gets on my nerves that they don’t tolerate children here. Will be going to Otter Nurseries from now on!
