What a lovely place. Been trying to visit for ages and wasnt disappointed. Lovely staff great food. If I had one gripe it was for the fact that the oven was gas and not a true pizza oven with coals for you don't quite get that smell and crispy bottom pizza. But will be back�

We've been wanting to visit Bertha's Pizza for a long time. We weren't disappointed, fantastic pizza and gelato. Loved watching the pizzas being made in a proper pizza oven.

Visited last night after recommendation.....what a lovely, friendly place. Pizzas were amazing, there were 8 of us and all pizzas served at the same time. Staff so friendly, very attentive and owners Graham & Kate on hand with their staff too.

Would definitely return....& I like their story of how it all began which you can read on their website �

The commitment this family have to the craft and art of pizza is astonishing and admirable. Not only that, every element of the food on offer, drinks, natural wine, cocktails & gelato is forward thinking and progressive. Lovely ambiance, relaxed, warm and welcoming team too. Really happy to call the Bertha family close friends.

The best pizza I've tasted outside of northern Italy, and I think it's only the memories of Lake Maggiore which stops it taking first spot. Great service, nice surroundings and delicious food.

Lovely. Great pizza's, lovely staff. Very enjoyable last minute choice. Chap couldn't have been more helpful, managed the right balance between interested and helpful but not over the top. Felt looked after. Pizza was excellent and the perfect size. Whole party enjoyed their meal. Waitress attentive and lovely but again not intrusive. Decor is great and I loved the wine glasses, great attention detail. Recommended

I had a vegan sausagefest pizza at Berthas last night and it wss delicious...probably the best vegan pizza I've had. My meat eating friend had the same and was impressed. The 'sausage ' was made with pearl barley and mushrooms so not processed food. The base was delicious too. Nice staff atmosphere and drinks as well .

Had the woods pizza 🍕 so much flavour and so tasty! Would definitely recommend it.

Had an impromptu trip here on a cold Sunday afternoon. The staff were so welcoming & helpful, we had a pushchair with us with my 11 week old so they made sure we could sit near it.

The menu is small, which is always a good sign as it means things are done properly. I had the special which had Stinking Bishop & caramelised pear on it, sublime!

Nice choice of drinks too, both booze & soft drinks. Had I not been driving I might’ve been tempted to try one of their cocktails too.

Nice simple decor, plus it’s great being able to watch the pizza being made & cooked.

Well worth a visit if you’re a pizza fan. I would go as far as to say the best sourdough pizza in Bristol!

Fantastic pizza cooked right there under your nose just the way I love it. Nice glass of draught pale ale to go with it perfect!!

Berthas pizza's are the best from the dough to the topping they're our fave pizza place. Scummy choices with often a vegan version too. The pizza tastes fresh and you don't feel guilty for gobbling a whole one as everything is homemade and fresh. Love the home made Gelato too! Staff are so welcoming and know thier stuff! Lovely family feel.

Berthas made 20 pizzas for my girlfriends birthday party, all done at short notice, delivered in a taxi, all the guests loved the pizza, great prices, great service, lovely staff, couldn’t ask for more

Bertha's is such a great addition to our neighbourhood. Super pleasant and efficient staff, great sourdough pizzas and I suspect we'll continue to visit for a long time to come! Thanks as always.

I enjoyed our evening and we had lovely service. I was a little disappointed with my umami pizza because I thought it needed more wow. But the other pizzas were nice. Also a bit sad that the gelato choice was a bit limited as it had all sold out. Still love the place though.
