So very excited for our new project @sarahmfk62 . Toile fitting for what is going to be such a sophisticated two pieces suit. The fabulous material will be revealed in due course. I've made the pattern based on Sarah's measurements, a toile fitting is always very useful when you deal with precious fabrics and also it allows you to adjust seams and lines on a real body shape.

The first picture is the original shape of our client's dress, slide a d you'll see how the dress has been transformed.. We literally had to take the whole dress apart and recut the shape of the skirt, probably easier to start from scratch in some cases🤣🤣 @ Bertoldi

This is one of the prom dresses that we've had the pleasure to alter. The original to the left had a revieling cowl neck which didn't feel right. We've placed a couple of darts and removed it for a smoother and more tailored finish 😊.

Just slightly off topic, moving away from bridal .. I was approached a few weeks ago by this guy on Facebook asking if I could make a hoodie for his PG monkey..
