Best Practice People work in partnership with Colleges, Local Authorities and large Training Providers to deliver fully funded provision to unemployed and low paid individuals striving to improve their employment status, build confidence, enhance well-being and gain a sense of achievement. We enhance the opportunities available for learners by providing confidence boosting qualifications that are achieved immediately, and significantly improve employment opportunities through the creation of our Internet Intelligent CV™Our provision provides better access to training facilities and supports better geographical access for learners through our fully portable delivery model allowing us to take our provision to the learner's doorstep, anywhere in the country. We use high quality conference facilities, close to the local Jobcentre Plus, or within a specific, usually deprived region. We provide a secure laptop for each learner, as well as state of the art learning resources via our secure virtual learning environment. We offer an entry point for disadvantaged groups and give consideration of the impact on individuals with shared protected characteristics, where there might otherwise be gaps. With qualifications available from Entry Level 3 to Level 2, we provide entry points for low qualified individuals and present clear progression routes to improve their level of education to Level 2, and beyond. 58% of our learners sit within the top four indices of deprivation. 1. 68% progression rates, 40% employment related. 2. Overall provision rating: 83% of learners rate us 5 out of 5, 16% rate 4 out of five. 3. Overall tutor rating: 95% of learners score 5 out of 5. 4. 92% of learners feel significantly more confident in achieving their personal goals. 5. 97% of learners felt they had seriously improved their work related skills.
