We stayed here on Sat eve. We arrived late in the eve. We were so tired but the receptionist went out of her way to give us a quiet different room. It was warm spotless and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was lovely and we were served by a young girl who was so polite. Wonderful place to stay. Definitely recommend this hotel

We all had a good night,the staff looked after us and the food and disco was good we will defiantly be back next year for the flameskill do.Looking forward to Christmas dinner.

Very happy with the staff always very helpful and friendly the food is great being able to take my two dogs is a very big bonus nothing is to much trouble for this hotel I would highly recommend it will definitely be staying there again.

The Cedars was the perfect venue for our wedding day both ourselves and our guests think that it was perfect. The food was delicious and the staff are dedicated and professional. Any extra requirements we had on the day were handled quickly and without problem. Also our room was lovely, clean and tidy. The reception staff, the bar staff, the waiting staff, the management and the house keeping staff all made us feel welcome. We highly recommend the Cedars. You won't be disappointed.

Thank you so much for the fantastic way you looked after our guests and us on our Wedding Celebrations on Saturday. Matt took charge as soon as we arrived and made sure he did everything he possibly could to make our day special. The service was amazing and the food you provided was delicious. Thank you again.

Simply superb. I want as many people to share the same experience i had there and to sample it for themselves soonest! It capped off a great week of sleep deprivation and set me up for the short drive home. A healthy, flling dinner which i managed to walk off with a long walk to Stowmarket. Get checked in now and enjoy the setting before any refurbishment. 5 star.

New Years Eve 2017. The staff were wonderful, the food was wonderful, the DJ's track list was was wonderful. You get the idea. We'd be back in a heartbeat.

My husband and i had a wedding meal at the ceders restaurant in july , from the moment we booked the restaurant until the day, the staff were so helpful nothing was too much trouble ,the tables were set out beautifully, even the cake was put on a stand with a cake knife all supplied for free by the hotel , As for the food it was excellent , every guest commented on the meal how superb it was , even the children could have anything they wanted , we are so pleased we booked the ceders for our wedding , couldnt have asked for more , Thank you too all the front of house,kitchen , waiting ,and bar staff ,you all made our day special , Mrs and Mr Warby X

I enjoyed staying in this really old hotel when visiting family in Stowmarket. If you need a wheelchair, you won't be able to use rooms upstairs. No elevator. Floors are uneven. But just as you would expect for a house hundreds of years old. This old inn has more character than any I've ever stayed in. I felt I was thrown into an old novel.

Honestly could not praise this place enough. Staff and food were amazing. Best of all was the welcoming they gave our two dogs-even to the point we were given a doggie menu for them. Needless to say there manners had a lot to be desired when eating, but they really enjoyed there chicken and vegetables. Thanks so much each and everyone of you.

Hands down the best service I have ever received at any hotel. We had a great stay with several meals that were all delicious, second only to their amazing and helpful staff. We left feeling cared for and we haven’t stopped talking about them since (and also wishing our current hotel had their staff!) Should we ever come to Suffolk again, we will absolutely stay at the Cedars. Big huge thank you to Matt, George and Cameron as well as the rest of the staff.

We stayed here Saturday night, I just wanted to say all the staff are so helpful and friendly! Although the hotel is a little dated the service is super,we were late to breakfast as it finished at 9.30 but we were still offered egg on toast even though the kitchen had closed! Well done Cedars staff...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊.
