Stayed for two nights the room was very spacious and the breakfast was lovely. The staff are very friendly. The car park is secured with a barrier it is next to the M1 so excellent connections and not far by car to Nottingham. My room was top floor above reception over looking the restaurant and I have to say I did not hear anything at night it was an outstanding stay and I would use this hotel again.

I have stayed here several times. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The staff are always helpful. Best of all, it's pet-friendly too.

For a budget hotel this Best Western is excellent value. I have stayed here several times and never had a bad experience. The staff are helpful, my room has always been quiet and the breakfast is very good. Will stay here again.

User

Extremely good value, I have paid £300 pounds a night for hotels no better than the Best Western Nottingham/Derby, the breakfast is excellent and the staff friendly and helpful, will certainly be returning.

User

User

Very nice place and friendly staff always willing to help you

User

Very good price for a double room. I loved everything about the room, everything. The staff was very friendly except the ladies at the bar in the restaurant. Not very friendly. This is the only reason why i give 4 stars instead of 5. Regardless i barely wait to come back.

Recently had a pleasant stay here for a backgammon tournament. Easy to find with plenty of parking. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and well maintained - for the price it was very good and would happily stay again. And if you like a good breakfast you won't be disappointed given the broad range of cooked and continental foods :-)

User

Great value, £57 for a double room with ensuite and lots of extras other hotels don't put in like fan, alarm clock, safe, ironing board, loads of tea, coffee and milk with more at reception for free and nice big full hd tv , secure barrier car park for free and you can open the windows if it's too hot which you can't at alternative hotels what's not to like, staff really friendly which makes all the difference. Would def stay again and recommend to all

User

Very nice clean hotel, friendly polite staff, easy parking etc. The only thing that lets it down is this is literally the first hotel I have ever stayed at that doesn't have hot chocolate sachets in the room with the coffee and tea...what's that about?!

User

Just a basic hotel. Clean and tidy but very noisy. Sure there was an elephant staying up stairs. Restaurant attached was nice with very friendly staff. Breakfast was good with alot of choice. Would probably stay again but l would ask for a room not on the ground floor as were woken up but a group of men outside our window being very loud.

Nothing wrong with the amazing staff here , especially the lady that was doing breakfast

Had the room next to me banging doors all night , bloody arguing at 4 am , no job just there at the taxpayers expense , nothing wrong with you being there , just respect us that have to go to work and pay for our hotel rooms , rather than confront them I was moved , don’t pay and do what you like

After a long day at a event (6am start) , I was looking forward to a good nights sleep.

The receptionist was pleasant and the food at the grill was nice (if a tad expensive, especially for drinks).

At first thought the room was good a little noisy but assumed it was just people settling in the for night. I then proceeded to be kept awake from 11:30-3am by rowdy (assuming drunken) guests having loud conversations in the corridor and constantly slamming their room/ corridor doors.

Spoken to a nice chap on reception twice, he told they had been asked to keep the noise down and calling the police was their last option. He kindly offered to have me moved to a different room (packing all of my belongings back up at 3am and unpacking them in the new room)

Proceeded to unpack what I needed for the morning in the new room, unfurled the bed sheets to be confronted with a stain on them. While only a small mark it does set the mind wondering if they actually have changed the bed linen.....

Unable to face another room change at what was then 4am (when I was getting up at 7am). I ended up sleeping fully clothed on top of the bed.

Having stayed at other best westerns I was expecting this one to meet my expectations and was sadly disappointed.

No management at the desk on the morning so I could not talk to anyone beyond writing a complaint down for the receptionist to pass on.

Wouldn’t stay here again even if I was paid. Terrible service and no help what so ever. If you have any disabilities what so ever do not stay here.

User

We had a one night stay, Thursday 16 Feb. After an appalling incident that night, the lack of empathy and help by the receptionist on duty was just downright disgusting and upsetting to say the least. Whomever is responsible for the training of your staff really needs a good talking to. As for your lack of security, well let's just say it needs a damn good review. For a worldwide company you sure as hell let your clients down on this particular night. Would we recommend your hotel........ NO!!

Look forward to your reply!!

User

Terrible noise transmission from other rooms. Especially the room above who enjoys endless walking across a small hotel room. We could also hear music from another room.

If you enjoy a good nights sleep don’t stay here. Awful.

User

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night very recently, what should have been a lovely evening/night was spoilt by slack staff, poor / non-existent security and a general sense that customers did not come first and staff on duty did not care about our welfare or feelings.

Complaints / concerns were handled badly and we were not listened too.

This is the first and last time I will ever stay in this hotel and I shall never recommend it to anybody I know.
