Very nice quaint English hotel. Nice size pool, clean spa, lovely staff. Only drawback was I got a mobility room which had a harder bed surface than I'm used to. But I guess that would be perfect for someone who needs a firm surface. So all in all...super! I'll definately recommend and return.
We have stayed many times at the Connaught, it has always been comfortable, clean and pleasant. It is a little dated but the facilities are good and the staff are fantastic. Over all it is good value.
Fantastic spa, and the massages are great too, unfortunately some boards were missing in the sauna so we could only use half of it, and the heating in the changing rooms was insane! Even though I'd showered and dried myself by the time I was done I was soaking wet again!
Otherwise this is an absolutely beautiful spa with great service , all the staff were very friendly :)
Situated in the centre of Bournemouth, the hotel is easy to access and use as a base to explore the local area. Parking is tight, as it is for all town-based hotels, but the hotel manages parking as flexibly as they can. Our room was small, with no chest of drawers which made living in the room a bit awkward. It did benefit from a separate loo and bathroom which was useful. The staff were attentive and flexible; the food was good and the hotel benefits from a pool in the basement, which is open to guests. The hotel also host functions and events and when they do the hotel guests are kept discretely separate so any disturbance is minimised.
I had a lovely weekend away! The room was nice and warm! The food was lovely, the hotel is 4 star however i give it 5 with its amazing atmosphere, staff and spa facilities!
We went to the hotel for a day as my partner had booked us a revive spa day and we were really amazed by the whole experience the staff were very friendly and explained everything the food was exceptional the treatments and the facilities were second to none if you want a relaxing time would recommend coming here we felt very relaxed will be booking to stay here in the future
Absolutely shocking...I tried to book for 2 adults and 1 child. I had trouble booking on line so called hotel direct. Despite their website saying kid friendly, telling you about their child policy (free breakfast, free stay with 2 paying adults etc), a box put number of and age of children when selecting rooms etc, option to select family rooms on the booking process on their website, all the booking websites saying good for kids etc, it turns out they don't really accommodate children and have no family rooms available. But receptionist was not apologetic and was in fact quite abrupt when I queried it. You won't catch me staying here with that kind of attitude...even if I didn't have my child with me. Disgrace Best Western Plus Connaught.
Front of House : Brilliant especially if you are prepared to have a Chat
Hotel : I've stayed in a lot of Best Western as a preference but this ranks as one of the best.
Food: I was on Business and due to work overload had to have room service. As good as going into the Restaurant. Try the rib eye if you're stuck on choice. Med Rare Perfect. Don't miss out on pudding either. Try the Crème Brule. It's different but an experience.
Breakfast: Perfect but if you're watching the potential calories, watch out!
