About Bethesda Church Royton Charity Shop
Money raised in the Charity shop is for local people in crisis (it's not for Church funds! ). We serve people referred by local agencies and also people we come across along the way
Bethesda Church Royton Charity Shop Description
We are a friendly bunch of Christians based in our chapel at the junction of Dogford Road and Rochdale Road in Royton. We’ve been around since 1775 and are very much Bible based; if it’s in there we like it and if not we prefer to leave it alone. We like to think of ourselves as free!
You are welcome to join us at any of our meetings:
Sunday 10 am (family worship /Sunday school)
Sunday 6 pm (worship)
Tuesday 9. 15 am (parent & toddler group)
Wednesday 8. 00 pm (prayer meeting & Bible study)

A big thanks to everyone who has helped the Charity Shop and also our Furniture Bank in any way. Just to let you know that needy people referred from local agencies received white goods to the value of over £4500 during the first six months of the year and since 1st July we have helped a further 25 people with furniture and white goods etc, sometimes fitting out the whole of their new house/flat. Despite being closed for a break until September, the work continues behind the scenes to help the needy. Thank you xxxxx
Hello Royton! It’s that time of year again! The sun is shining and the fun is here at Bethesda this Saturday (23rd June) 11am-2pm. This year we have Skylight Circus group joining us, pop along to juggle some balls, balance some plates and have a go on a unicycle!! We also have a bouncy castle, face painting, slime making, Didi cars, home made cake stalls and much more!! So quick tag your family and friends so they can enjoy the fun SHARE SHARE SHARE! We can’t wait to see you all on Saturday 🙂
We’ve admitted defeat with the weather this morning and cancelled the service. Keep safe everyone! xx

Geoff's Christmas Meditation Have you planned to 'make room' for Jesus in your Christmas celebrations yet? If not why not come to our carol service tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 10.30 (or to one in a church near where you live)? Or come to our short service at 10.30 am on Christmas Day - bring your best present to 'show and tell'. Or at least sing 'Happy birthday to Jesus' as the grace to your Christmas dinner - after all it would be very rude to ignore the One who the party i...s in honour of wouldn't it? Have a great Christmas, God bless Geoff and all at Bethesda

Pretty much finished now. We bought 168 rolls of wrapping paper to start and we just have the one roll left. About 50 of the smaller rolls were gifted to us along with some A2 sized sheets. My team are now known as 'the Royton Wrappers' - and they can't half all chat😄😄😄❤️❤️❤️
