A big thank you to everyone who came to the New Year’s Eve party dance and made it a great evening. Also, a few days later the Cha, Cha fitness workshop. Both were very well attended with loads of dancing and fun 🙂

The next social dance is on Saturday 11th January at St Stephen’s. Medals will be awarded during the evening. You can book a table with friends. Tea and coffee supplied but feel free to br...ing your own food and drink. Hope to see you there! 🙂
** New in March - Vintage Ballroom Social Dance with The Lavender Belles! **
Make sure to reserve your place for the March social on Saturday 14th March (St Stephen’s Church Hall, Park Avenue EN1 2BA, 7.30pm - 10.30pm) when you’ll have a chance to listen to the amazing Lavender Belles. These four fabulous singers, including our very own Kate, will be making their first appearance with New Life Dance. We will, of course, be playing our usual upbeat and classic music during the evening as well.

Thank you everyone who came to New Life Dance Xmas dance and your support throughout the year. Big thanks to Julian and the North London Swing Quintet for great live music.
Awards were presented to those people who have really helped through the year including Jill, Isobel, Kate, Ronnie, Andrea, John and Caulene in remembrance of Audrey Fowler who originally trained with Dame Thora Hird and tirelessly ran the Greater London Dance Festival for 50 years. Helping raise money for... charities including the British Heart Foundation.
New Year’s Eve - Be great if you can come to our New Year’s Eve Party at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Park Avenue EN1 2BA, 8pm-past midnight - cost £15. There aren’t many Ballroom and Latin NYE parties so book a place while you can, and bring friends for a great night. Why not book a table. No partner needed at dances or any classes or workshops.
We also have a Viennese Waltz and Salsa Workshop 2-4.30pm Saturday 14th Dec at the URC, 77 Compton Road, Winchmore Hill N21. Dances can be split - £10 one dance, £20 both dances.
Or come to New Life Dance Argentine Tango Workshop 2-4.30pm Saturday 21st Dec - £20p.p. Also at URC, Winchmore Hill.

The Christmas Dance with live band (North London Swing Quintet) and Prosecco starts 7.30pm on Saturday 7th December (£15p.p.) and New Year’s Eve dance starts at 8pm - past midnight (also £15 p.p.). Both at St Stephen’s Church Hall, Park Avenue EN1 2BA

Well done everyone in your dance exams. You worked very hard and deserve real success. I’ll let you know when we get the get the results which (hopefully) will be in about 4 weeks time! Thank you everyone for coming to the July Tropical Dance and making it an enjoyable evening and fitting tribute to George (Geriess) Kachkouche who very sadly passed away recently. George regularly came to our classes and was known by many dancers in London. He was a mine of information about Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango dances in London and will be sadly missed. All donations have been passed to his family to go to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. Our thoughts are with his daughter Greta and family. Martin and Elaine

Hi everyone. Before dance class this Thursday 11th July starting at 6pm we are hosting a free health talk. Please join us as the information you’ll hear can make a real difference to your fitness and overall health. Give me a call for more info. No pressure and there’s a Q and A session at the end. Amelia, my daughter, is training to swim the channel next year in support of her good friend Maddy who sadly passed away in 2017 after a very short illness at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Any support and donations will be very much appreciated. Thank you, Martin.

A big thank you to everyone who came to the April monthly dance and made it an enjoyable evening including all the helpers. Especially Cordelia for great photos, Isobel (raffle and desk with Cordelia), Kate for great singing, Cathy as always taking the money, Cliff and Tony partnering throughout the evening plus others and everyone helping clear away at the end. You all make it special.
The next dance is a Ball with live band - The North London Swing Quintet led by Julian on ...Saturday 11th May 2019 at St Stephen’s. Black tie optional. The evening starts at 7.30pm. Please book now as these events are popular and can sell out.
