About Better Together Project

Better Together Project (BTP) is a non-profit initiative set up by Sara & Steph Harnett. It is a female centric platform that encourages and enables women to become and /or recieve the support of a mentor. The mentoring relationship is tended to be seen and spoken of in the professional sense but Better Together Project looks to bring mentoring into all walks of life for women. We've benefitted from being mentored and felt the change, power and self confidence it can bring. At time of launch, the world is in the throws of an epidemic where we are all having to 'socially distance' and there is an air of isolation to our culture now. In this period, BTP will be offering mentoring through various virtual means but there are future plans and ideas to be able to bring the mentoring community together. There are only two requirements to sign up for and benefit from Better Together Project, the first is that you are female or identify as female and the second is that you are over 18. That's it, we want to make this project as broad as can be and bring the power of mentoring to as many women as possible. You can sign up to be a mentor or /and be mentored through our website. Initially we will look to match you with your mentee or mentor based on you and your requirements. If you've never mentored before, that's ok, we all have to start somewhere, we will support you through the process. If you've never been mentored, then now is a great time to start. If you're male, we don't want you to feel left out at all out. We'd love to have you as a Better Together Project ally, you can spread the word to the women in your networks, recommend it to particular women you may feel would benefit from it and use some of the lessons we learn along the way to empower more women around you.
