Betteridge Horsebox'S

We are now building 3.5tonne Horseboxes at our workshops in East Wellow. We will build to customer requirements. Renault Master/ Vauxhall Movano Chassis sought and supplied, both built to take 2 16.2hh horses. All vans are weighed prior to build, and again once complete to ensure customers of correct payload. Orders now being taken. Prices will vary depending on age of Chassis and level of requirements. We aim to be able to sell these Horseboxes at affordable cost. Bumper Replacement and sprayed.

This Trailer needed a new ramp due to the 'botch' job someone had done. The ramp was spongy and soft, not surprisingly due to part of it being replaced with thicker plywood and coated with Bitumen. There was an obvious lip showing through the rubber and once removed we could see why, this was not safe for any Horse to walk on

This is what happens when Trailers are left standing for long periods of time. When we removed the wheels the brakes literally crumbled away. This cost the customer in excess of £500.00 to replace the braking system, a very expensive problem. A regular Service & Safety Inspection would prevent this kind of problem and expense. We urge all Trailer users to have them serviced/inspected every 6 months, safety MUST come first for your Horses and yourselves. Don't leave it until tomorrow, act now. Be Safe this season.
