Delicious food and great atmosphere with first class service

Good simple food, run by a charity so expect some rough edges but well worth a visit.

A lovely tea room/restaurant with a good menu and nicely presented dishes. A good place for a relaxing meal.

A lovely place for either a quick visit or you can camp on their site , either tent caravan or motor home. View is great. Kids will love the animals and then you can get something to eat and drink in the tea room and visit the shop for fresh produce

Some nice farm shops to take a look round and play area for the kids (aged up to 12 I'd say). Can relax while the kids play for a couple of hours and look at small no. Of farm animals. Adequate facilities but not a day out more a few hours type visit.

I went here with my family, the craft fair was on the day of our visit which my wife participated in. First of all, the fact that the entry was free was of great surprise. We all had sausage, bacon and egg sandwiches that were very tasty and reasonably priced. Yes the other could do with a bit of sprucing up but my young boys didn't mind as they played on the slides, bikes and said hello to the animals. I also love the fact that this is charity run for the staff, they were all doing a great job and seemed to be enjoying themselves alot. There isn't much to see as an adult bit I was there for the kids and I will be back again

I love that this farm has been set up as a charity to help individuals with learning disabilities but it really was a poor experience for our visit.

Even though we went when there was a craft fair, there was still very little to do. Animals didn't look particularly well looked after, and the goats looked caged! We didn't take children, but the ones we saw looked happy in the play area, although others have commented on the state of the equipment.

Small shop was ok.

Also no bees, were are the bees?

Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Worked here for 4 months last year and I for one am glad I left. Firstly management is shockingly terrible with the way they treat you. I have worked 7 years in hospitality and even trained through College in restaurant management and to be told that my cv is full of lies was the final straw for me. Being told I cannot do my job properly, treated me like one of their disabled students who behind closed doors away from customers get treated badly. All because I came into the job with a minor issue that I'm hard of hearing, which I as an independent human being don't see a tiny amount of hearing loss as a disability. Avis Turner I'm afraid is not a very nice person, she was always from day one was very bitter towards me, trying to belittle me, twist my words, spread lies about to not only staff but customers, had an issue with me having to travel via bus (I'm sorry but if that was the case, why employ) and also made me ill. It's not a particular good environment to work in, kitchen full of unhygienic hazards, cooking from the microwaves. Another shocking revelation was when the manageress thought it was ok and funny to accuse me of touching her which I never would do. Yet she let a kitchen staff grope, spank and play fight with her which in another workplace he would of been sacked with immediate effect. It's saddens me to think a nice cafe out in the countryside can be ruined by this so called company. Absolutely shocking and am I glad I don't work there anymore.
