Betty Mays will be open to all genuine Trick or Treaters on the night of 'All Hallows'. If your out and about and want to warm yourselves up..or the kids need to use the loo... pop in for a free treat for the kids and a warming cup of pumpkin soup for the adults. Ill be open from 6.00 till 8.30. Prize for the best fancy dress..I'll be wearing mine!!! ;) xxx

After making 100+ cakes for Premier and Whalley Golf Club ...30 christening cupcakes... a christening cake and a buffet for almost 60 ( photos to follow) every evening this week after the cafe closes...I am now going to catch up on some sleep. Tomorrow (Fri 19th) I will be saying farewell to my Uncle. The cafe will be open from 9 till 2.30 as normal. I will be leaving it in the very capable hands of Olivia Mctear and Janet. Thanks in advance ladies..your ace!!! ;) xxx

I have been ever so rude.... I havent introduced you to my mum Betty....the inspiration for my little cafe. Betty is my mum...the reason why I love to cook and bake..stems from helping her in the kitchen..from a wee small age ( with the aid of a stool!) Mum's middle name is Ismay and May is my birth month. So hence my choice of name.... Not just a random choice...a name choosen because I love my mum xxx

What a delicious breakfast! I am fussy about so many elements of a full english; it is surprising how wrong it can go but not at Betty May’s. I usually ditch the sausages in favour of an extra egg but these sausages were lovely. It was cooked to perfection and kept me full the whole day. Thank you x

Lovely, friendly, clean and welcoming little hide away cafe. Perfect for a slice of delicious home made cake with an excellent cup of tea or coffee.

My children have requested we visit for cake every day!!!

Enjoyed a delicious and good value breakfast here in this pretty cafe. The owner Mel is super friendly and I loved the decor. We were even allowed to bring our dog in, and he was made a big fuss of too. :)

Also bought some Rocky Road to take to my Sisters and we all loved it
