BeverleyBlinds are pleased to announce that we have invented and manufactured the new "EasyCleat" which is a simple solution to the problem of fitting child safety cleats to widow frames. By law all blinds need to be fitted to new safety regulations, in the case of Venetian blinds a cleat has to be fitted to keep the hanging cords out of harms way. This has been causing problems on bay widows as the only cleats available needed to be screwed on to the ...window frames, which some customers refused to have fitted not wanting to have anything screwed onto the window frame, even some window companies are saying that the warranty will be invalidated if anything is screwed to the frame. The problem is by law they have to be fitted, we came up with the idea of the "EasyCleat" which is fixed to the window frame using a very strong adhesive pad which requires no drilling and can be removed at a later date without leaving any marks on the frame.
