This weekend Windows 3.1 turned 27. When I started in IT, this was state-of-the-art, surprisingly many of it's apps and features are still with us, calculator, notepad, control panel, paint... Speaking personally notepad and calculator are still daily tools, maybe it's their neat simplicity?

My business revolves around my laptop so when it refused to start up, it literally is an existential crisis. I called Simon who came out the same day, took the laptop away, liaised with my network support team and kept me updated every step of the way.
