What a beautiful morning for an off road ride! Tired legs now though!

Sad to receive this message from a friend yesterday - she lives in the Cranleigh area near Notcutts.
Unfortunately we were burgled yesterday and our bikes were stolen ☹️, could you ask your groups to keep a look out? Black Wilier Mortirolo with campag chorus groupset, and campag carbon wheels. Later in the day some customers from Ewhurst told me they had also been burgled. Do check your security everyone there is some scum out there.

This Sunday, I will be leading an off road ride from Cranleigh Leisure Centre carpark on behalf of Cranleigh Cycling Club. I intend to ride via the Downs Link to Shamley Green and then up bridleway over the Willingshurst Estate, Winterfold, Pitch Hill and Holmbury Hill if there is time, taking in some of the excellent singletrack trails. Ride level will be fairly mellow both speed and technically. Aiming to leave the carpark at 8.30, so if you would like to give it a try, please arrive at 8.15. Returning to Richard Onslow for coffee/beer at around 11-11.30 with the returning road riding groups.

Road rides going from the shop tomorrow morning: Cranleigh CC will be leaving at 9am to do a 33mile ride over to Thursley but missing the Punchbowl cycle path - this will be a pacey ride, newcomers welcome. The route is here https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28893604
