Beyond Limits, pushing the boundaries of conventional support. We are a relatively new organisation based in Devon providing personalised support. Our mission is to change the face of services for vulnerable people and those at risk of exclusion. We relish working with people who have been labelled as 'challenging' and have much experience in this field having been set up on the back of Partners for Inclusion a Scottish organisation that has been working in an individualised, person centred way for the last 15 years. By individualising the service we provide we are immediately treating people with respect and putting the power of how they wish to live their lives in their own hands. This in itself goes part way reducing any so called 'challenging behaviour, which is a method by which people tell us they are not happy. All Behaviour is communication.
Each person we support has their own staff team, employed by them and for them, they have a place to live that they call home and where they chose who, if anyone, they share this home with. Each person has an individual ring fenced pot of money which is used as an Individual Service Fund (ISF) to meet their needs and wishes. This might include to pay for staff support, to get short breaks, to join a club where they can develop skills and meet people or for anything else that might help them achieve a great life (good outcomes).
