Chamber Means Business
As the weather serves as an unwelcome reminder of the impending seasonal change Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce have just hosted their #B2B #exhibition #CMB18 at the AESSEAL plc New York Stadium home of the #Milllers, Rotherham United Football Club.
Judging by all accounts the event was a great success & has given BHI Workwear the platform to which we could discuss our principles & solutions to decision makers from a huge array of #businesses ...& #industry’s Rather than making this all about what #BHI could offer it is vastly more important to present the value we could add to working with those #businesses in a mutually beneficial manner.
With great speakers which included Ken Smart of McLaren– Yes, the #Formula1 team & supercar genius’ – David Shepherd, Damien Wilson & Julie Kenny I dare say we may have learned a few things too.
When we asked our #Sales Manager Dave Guy how #BHI were getting on, he responded “Very good, we have the dream team” which is high praise indeed. We would also like to welcome Ross Kerfoot to the BHI family, he seems to have already made a great start despite being thrown in at the deep end – long may it continue.
A big thank you to Shane Young at the Chamber for all his great work.

Some exciting news for the #Rotherham area for next year – The Forge Island regeneration development begins with Muse Developments transforming the area into #Rotherham’s #leisure quarter.
#Forgeisland will hold a cinema, food and drink outlets and a hotel. Work is expected to begin in October 2019 with expected completion within 2 years.
... This is yet another step in transforming the town centre into something more vibrant and engaging. The town centre, aside from a few places, has been on the slide for too long and looks unwelcoming to say the least.
Without delving into the negatives this project has the chance to change the town for the better leading to more developments and changes in the perception of Rotherham to the broader public. Good luck to Dan Needham and his team.

It’s an interesting premise although I’m not entirely convinced purchasing online will replace sales people or contacts who can add value and assistance. If you were buying one offs, then I can see the advantages however what happens when you are buying multiple products or products for multiple users?
