Bideford Bay Holiday Park

It is what it is. The accommodation is cheap and looks it but it has a roof and is warm enough.

I just love the feeling of being totally relaxed when there. Beautiful surroundings. Friendly atmosphere.

Great for kids. But the caravan we was in had mould and hair on the beds and the place had wasps everywhere and they did not get rid of a nest near by they just left it. Cant park by the caravan and with a pregnant wife and 3 kids its a bit of a walk. But the kids entertainment was 5 stars and staff where fantastic.But we won't be back.

Absolutely wonderful. Took my family on our first holiday and enjoyed every minute. The views are stunning and facilities are very clean and of high standard. Nice outdoor and indoor play areas for little ones, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, bar/restaurant and entertainment on a nightly basis. My family thoroughly enjoyed it here and we will be returning!

Amazing few days spent with this wonderfull park as our base. The chalets were spotless and contained everything we could wish for. Comfy beds, television and cooking facilities. Really well maintained and with a pool and bar what more could you ask for !! Even a few photo ops for those dirty dancing fans . See if you can spot them !!! Great time had by all thank you.

They got my nan to buy a 50,000 £ + caravan and then done everything they could to force her off the site putting up rent and in the end she didnt have much choice to sell that same caravan back to them for 9,000 £ because of the situation she found herself in. They also did the same to one of her neighbours. Mike the maintenance man is a complete A hole and thats putting it mildly. DO NOT! Buy caravans from them , dont say you wasnt warned

Quite honestly, not good. Stayed in Walland 7.

Positives:
- The TV was good, reasonable size.
- The sofas were comfortable.
- The electric fire looked good and warmed the living room nicely
- The cooker and hob (apparently) were good

Negatives: (ooh boy, here we go)
- The beds were terrible. Rock solid mattresses that appeared incredibly old, and headboards which didn't line up with the beds.
- The wardrobes didn't close properly, this is true for all of them in all rooms
- The TV was directly above the elec. fire, which seems unsafe
- 3 of 4 legs on the coffee table were loose, and when they offered to replace said table, they never did in the 5 days they had to
- The sofa along the windows had the back cushions destroyed, presumably by dogs jumping on them.
- The concrete pathway to the door was old and cracked, and also passes right outside the chalet closer to the road, which seems an invasion of privacy
- The ceilings had cracks in the corners
- The bathroom mirror was old and needed replacing desperately
- The fridge was pathetically small considering the room can take 8 people
- Only one plug in the single rooms, which is taken by the heater, but fortunately I never used this as...
- The heater, if I turned the temp. dial down quickly to 'off', would cut out for a second. I only saw the light go out at first, and when I redid this and looked inside, there was a small spark. A SPARK. Try get that through a safety test, I dare you.

Overall, the area is very nice, and great for dogs, but I seriously recommend bringing your own caravan, or going somewhere else. Any benefits of the site really aren't worth the sub par accommodation, and the small entertainment area.

Lovely campsite in very nice surroundings. Good choice of accommodation and good facilities swimming pool, bar etc. Great for exploring Bideford Town and Westward Ho.

Good place for the family. Great entertainment for both kids and adults. A little pricey on the food menus and portions are not worth what you pay for them.
