Save yourself from the heat, come to Bierschenke!
On Thursday 26th July, our former employee Laura will be holding a pub-quiz (yes, we do those!) at Bierschenke, to raise money for Mental Health UK, a charity which does hugely valuable work helping some of the most vulnerable people in society.
Bierschenke loves the idea so much, that we arranged for our house Oompah band to play for the party and contributed £1000 to the charity.
... Should you wish to contribute you can do so by following the link below.

Friday means it's Saturday tomorrow! Join us this weekend, grab a Stein and celebrate with our live Oompah Band like a true Bavarian.
There might be a summer break with our Thursday buffet, but we still have our amazing platters for you all! Have you ever had any to share with your friends with an ice cold pint?
Enjoy the freshest tapped beer here at Bierschenke. What's your favourite type, we'd love to know!
Do you already have a favourite sausage? If not, today, from 12-2, we’re offering our last Sausage and Schnitzel buffet before our Thursday buffet’s summer break. That should give you enough time to ponder about which sausage would get your vote! Friday it's business as usual, throughout the summer. The Thursday buffet returns on the 6th September.
Just a heads up to our regulars. We have corporate booking for a Bavarian Breakfast tomorrow, Friday 6th July and will not have our amazing Friday buffet. But don’t worry it will be back next week and we’ll still be serving our beloved classics and new specials. Come in and be merry, folks!

We’d love to see your pictures or videos if you were with us last night and, if you are one of the great dancers in this short clip, we'd love to hear from you. We’re just asking for a friend!

Was in there for the. Germany mexico game got in there hour or so before was empty come kick of time was rammed upstairs and down beer was pricey but I'd already been in there so knew what to expect the atmosphere was amazing the service spot on apart from the result was a really good afternoon
Was in right after Germany beat Sweden last night. Absolutely bouncing.
The three amigos touched base there yesterday and have to say tge staff were amazing the beer and food even better and the whole experience 5 star all the way ... PROST!!!!!
Popped in about 9pm on Saturday after a day in London with a couple of friends. Got seated/stood on the benches and had a brilliant time dancing and singing along with the band. Really got an authentic beerhouse experience and totally finished the day on a major high. Thank you!
Lebekase is as good as any I've had in Germany. Although the draught beer selection could be better.
I love this place, I have been before and this time I brought a few friends to enjoy it is like being in Munich ! My friends enjoyed it. Staff very friendly lovely food, great portions and good drinks .
Plus the moving band which got the whole place rocking .Best was hearing "Don't stop me now" Bayern style !
Vielen dank alles war ganz toll ,wir werden sicher wieder kommen.!
Had a great night.
Food was fab
Music was great
Highly Recommend
Great night had by all! Food, drink and atmosphere all superb and loved everyone in fancy dress!
Food and beer was lovely, the music could be turned down a bit as it was rather load last night. Would go back anytime. Loved it...
Great Beer, a bit too busy but great to see all our canvas wall hangings still looking so great, if you want to know how we made them, contact me @rutttersuk
Fun place and food looked lovely but I have to say the music was insanely loud last night!! Too loud we had to leave down stairs for fear of our ears being blown away!! This is why you get 4 stars would have got 5 other wise! Oh and toilets where disgusting
Food and drinks are pretty good and was great fun. Can’t wait to come back. Maybe when it is not the same Christmas music playing in the loop all night 😉
Food and beer is amazing. Sausages are the best.
A very good experience, music between the band was too loud, but the band was very good..
We have visited on numerous occasions in the past and loved it however seems to have changed. Where has the authentic german music gone? Abba etc just doesnt do it. Food was nice but we were served by approx 5 different people!!!
Very nice tasting beer and a good drinking areas.
The only downsides are that you can feel a little like being in a German theme park instead of a pub. The prices reflect the notion that this is in fact a theme park by being extremely high.
The food was very authentic, but again: the prices seemed extortionate for what was actually being delivered; nothing from the food menu seemed to show a need for complex cooking, basically meat and bread/potatoes kind of dishes. It's a shame the pricing did not reflect the simplicity of the dishes.
Additionally a service charge is added to the bill that is not mentioned in the menu.
If you are working, this pub could be a nice place to relax with friends and drink some nice beer. It would have scored a higher star rating were the prices more reflective of the products.
Awful and crazy loud music, good beers
The bier is lovely but the service is absolute crap. I was waiting for my food for 2 hours asking the waitress 3 times where my order is, when I complained to the management they said they threw it away because they couldn’t find me - I mean I was asking the waitress several times and nothing. They had the attitude like it was my fault - not going to the kitchen looking for it, I WAS ASKING THE WAITRESS. Absolutely unfair to change for the service in advance anyway especially when your service is so bad! Disappointed :/
Please, next time you are doing an Eurovision party make sure you don't have a table of troglodites with no respect for any of the songs or the rest of clients in the pub
