As this is a family run business it means that if one member of the family goes on holiday... usually the others follow.
As of the 27th (next Friday) the usual faces will have disappeared for a week but the shop will still be open as usual. We have some great friends stepping in to look after the shop but please be patient with them.... they are more scared of you than you are of them!

Order as the choice seemed overwhelming. Lee suggested I had the slow cooked pulled beef in ale in a breadcake.



I cannot describe or do justice here to the amazing taste, the soft succulent the texture of the beef and the happiness it brought me.



I drove off with my sandwich in the car , eating it as I drove, which was a mistral I reckon. It was so full, so mouth-wateringly gorgeous I could hardly hold it and drive and concentrate.



If you pass this sandwich shop on fulford road, you MUST stop. You MUST buy something And you'll go back again.

The staff are friendly. The prices are great value and it's is THE BEST meat sandwich you will ever have. EVER !

Eaten there a few times now and every time have been blown away with the quality and flavour of the food. Proper home cooked beef and pork. Not to mention how friendly the staff are.

Big. Bite. For four and a half years, Big Bite has been my local and not once have I been disappointed. In the World Cup of Eateries-That-Will-Never-Be-Done-For-Trad e-Descriptions, Big Bite would come at least in Bronze medal position. I mean, you literally have to unhook your jaw in order to get your chops round their, quite literal, big bites. But it’s all worth the risk of lockjaw. Because everything is delicious, and they are nice humans.

Always stop here on way back to our depot in fulford if I get done in time for my usual

Ham, lettuce, cucumber and mayo on large white bap

Fills me up just nicely and for the size of it i would expect to pay more than what it costs
