Big Issue Invest is the social investment arm of The Big Issue, which was set-up as a business solution to the social crisis of homelessness. It gives homeless people the opportunity to earn their own income.

Like The Big Issue, Big Issue Invest aims to help people to help themselves by backing business-like responses to social problems with self-help and prevention at their core.

Big Issue Invest invests in aspiring social enterprises that want to grow, be profitable and increase their social impact. It provides finance tailored to the needs and repayment capability of the enterprise using a mix of loans, quasi-equity and equity. Our financing range is from £20, 000 to £3, 000, 000.
