Hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine! Quick reminder that Thirsty Squids will be Tuesday 5th March from 7pm at the Railway and we hope you can make it.
Feel free to come along for a drink or a bite to eat while we talk all things diving / non-diving. We will have an area reserved downstairs by the window and right next to the bar.

When you visit the Big Squid shop you can tell that you will get friendly service and good impartial advice.



All the staff and instructors will do their best to ensure you get the most from whatever you buy, course you do or trip you go on!

We completed our open water diving referral course, with Big squid. Can’t recommend enough, the dive masters knowledge was great and we both felt confident when we started our open water dives (in another country). We were given recommendations of places to go diving and also made to feel part of their dive family! We also went into the dive shop and bought masks and snorkels, which were brilliant and Johns knowledge helped us make brilliant informed buys.

Very helpful and friendly service. We've used big squid for servicing kit ( quick turnaround!) and dive holidays (always awesome) and purchasing dive kit ( good quality at the right price)

John, the owner, is a legend, very resourceful, very knowledgeable, nothing he can't fix and always knows what to do when presented with an issue or a request. He is surrounded by a great crew of friendly professionals and a fantastic bunch of regular divers. The courses are excellently run and the dive trips, UK and abroad, are always great fun. Way more than just a dive shop, can't recommend Big Squid highly enough.

I just did my Open Water referral course and couldn't recommend this school enough. I was nervous going in but the instructors made made me feel comfortable and reassured from the off.



We went a great pace that suited everyone and the sessions were fun and informative. I'm now booked in to finish the course abroad but would not hesitate to complete the course with these guys if I had'nt already planed to dive abroad!

Did our Open Referral course with John McEvoy a month ago. What a legend and outstanding instructor. We got so into diving that my wife and I have just compled our Advanced Open Water and Enriched Air Qualifications in Thailand...!

Best diving school in London!! John and his group of instructors and divemasters are all very professional and friendly! �

Amaaazing. I needed something urgently on a Sunday and called the store... despite being closed, they arranged to meet me at a tube station half way between us. Fifteen minutes later: voila!

Absolutely great atmosphere and professionalism. I did rescue course this weekend and for me it was the most rewarding and memorable diving experience. I will definitely be coming back for more. John, Jason, Jack, Michael, Matteo, Alex, thanks again! Kasia
