So you've decided you're going to learn an instrument. . . well, you've come to the right place!

Here at BigK Music School, we specialise in providing you with one-2-one tuition as well as focusing on your personal development from where you are to where you want to be, and beyond!


We will get you started on your journey as quickly as possible.

So what's the first step? Well, you have already taken the first step by being here. All you have to do next is choose what instrument you are interested in learning, and meet your tutor. All of BigK's tutors have been personally vetted to his extremely high standards, which include skill level, qualifications, DBS /CRB checks and above all, their passion and love for teaching music!

Once you are happy with your chosen instrument and tutor, you can book your consultation lesson (which will be held at your tutor's base) online. This will give you a chance to get to know your tutor while they discuss your goals, aspirations, inspirations, and current ability with you (but don't worry if you have never even tried the instrument, we are prepared for all levels and abilities). Your tutor will create a personalised lesson structure and plan for you.

Our headmaster 'BigK' will personally get in touch with you after your consultation lesson to discuss how you felt it went and what the next steps are if you are want to enrol with us at BigK Music School. You will then receive your 'Welcome and Information Pack', which includes all the information you need to get you started in the world of music.

CONGRATULATIONS - You are now a BigK Music School Student!

Once you have enrolled, you will start your regular one-2-one lessons with your tutor. Whether it be working towards graded exams, learning for fun, or pursuing a higher technical ability, your lessons will be structured accordingly and you will be continually assessed as you progress to a higher standard. As a BigK Student, you will have access to our interactive school with many benefits including your 'My Locker' page and groups /forums where you can interact with other students & tutors of the school as well as 'BigK' himself.

After all your hard work and commitment, you will be given a platform to show off your hard earned knowledge. We hold live performance shows throughout the year, where you will have the chance to perform with other BigK Music students and tutors and show off your talent to friends and family. Although optional, we encourage all our students to take part in our shows, as we believe this is a huge part of your personal development as a musician.

As well as the shows, we often hold our very own seminars and workshops that you can attend, which again, offer you the chance to study /take part in something more specific to your instrument or genre.
