A really excellent shop with great service. Very helpful and friendly staff and atmosphere. Had a puncture and new tyre fixed and engineers also fixed brakes issues for free. Would highly recommend this place to all.

well firstly im very disappointed with this shop and the service that they provide. this really isn't the place you should ever go if you want good service. over 2 months ago I went with my bike to ask them if they could help with a repair they said yes of course. what had happened is one of the pedals had broken so a new one would be needed they said we will order you a new one and repair it . they had said it wouldn't be more than a week before the new pedal would arrive and that it would only take 15 mins to fit it,over 2 months later and 6 phone calls and still no pedal had arrived. looking online all major retailers have the pedal at a cost of only £12 and delivery within 3 days so I was totally bemused as to why the bike scene still hadn't got the pedal. after 2 months they said oh yes we have it after I had complained about the time it had taken but to my astonishment they said it would be another 4 weeks before they could fit a simple pedal that takes 15 mins to fit, you would really think that after all the waiting they would at least have the decency to fit 15 mins in to their schedule to do the repair as a way of an apology for waiting over 2 months but no not the bike scene they don't care one bit about customer service so for a simple pedal that costs £12 and only takes 15 mins to fit its going to take them 3 month . this really is absurd . im quite respected in the cycling profession through many clubs and organisations and they all say this is the most ridiculous amount of time to wait for a pedal and cant believe a bike shop still exists and is still running with a reputation like this. all I can say through many years of being a professional cyclist is that this is the worst cyclist shop ive ever come across for service it really isn't worth even considering this business for your cycling needs as a respectable cyclist please don't even consider this you will be hugely let down and disappointed
