***BIKEPARK CORNWALL SUMMER UPDATE***
After several months of negotiation and a good deal of to-and-fro, the land owner with whom we had hoped to lease a woodland site from, has now decided that they do not want to pursue the development of the proposed trail centre. We have spent the past eight weeks seeking clarification on their position, and attempting to see if there is any way the project can progress at this location, but without success. In the short term, this is a v...ery disappointing outcome both for Bikepark Cornwall and for off road cycling in the South West. All the more disappointing as the feasibility study, to which so many people generously donated, found that both the site and the trail centre concept were viable and would be a tremendous asset for the Bodmin area.
Despite this setback, the determination and commitment of the Bikepark Cornwall team to build a quality trail centre here in the far South West, remains undiminished. Our passion and drive to build a progressive, fun and challenging woodland-based bikepark is stronger than ever.
The good news is that a number of alternative locations have already been identified and are currently being evaluated.

**BPC FEASIBILITY STUDY - 1st DRAFT COMPLETED**
Thanks to the kind and generous donations given by supporters of the Bikepark Cornwall project, in December we were able to go ahead and commission a specialist trail centre consultant to undertake a feasibility study. The 1st draft has now been received for review by Bikepark Cornwall. With the consent of the landowner we hope to be able to share the key findings with you all in the near future.

** BPC FEASIBILITY STUDY IS GO!!! **
Following a successful Crowdfunder campaign which raised a total of £2261 & with additional funds being secured from private investors, the Bikepark Cornwall feasibility study has been commissioned & is now underway. This is really great news!
Without the belief & support of all the kind & generous people who made a contribution, we would not have been able to get the feasibility study started so a huge “Thank you“ to you all. Extra thanks... to Cranked Bikes, MuckyNutz, Strong Adolfo’s, The Little Bike Shop, Inside Job Van linings & Cactus Tongue Bike racks for donating prizes for the rewards raffle.
We are expecting to see the feasibility study published by the end of January. Assuming that the output of the report is positive, it should enable us to move ahead with a site lease & planning application by next summer.
Here’s to a fun filled 2017. A year which will hopefully see work commence on the construction of Bikepark Cornwall.

** PRIZE RAFFLE TIME! **
Now that the first round of fundraising has successfully completed on Crowdfunder, we can announce the results of the rewards raffle. Names have been selected by a random generator app (www.random.org) and this is the list of lucky winners and the prizes they have won. Each individual will receive an email sent to the address they provided on the Crowdfunder website, letting them know how to claim their prize.
