Fantastic service from Paul. Really friendly and knowledgeable, and offered a great deal on my new bike. Provides a bike fitting service too, which was really beneficial to get me all set up. Highly recommended.

Called up and they had a cancellation so I dropped my bike off at 12 and rode my bike home that day feels like it's brand new! Thanks guys!!

Recently purchased a new Pashley bike from Bikes and gear. The bike is great, I love it and the service provided by Paul is far more than I would have expected. I am so glad I did not take the short- sighted option and buy from a major chain. For personal service and technical knowledge and actual help after you bought the item, independent bike shops seem a much safer choice. (In my experience ) and this one more than the others.

I came down on train from Manchester. The shop is located on one of the most traditional old streets in an amazing location. I even fitted in a visit to Tatton Park, which is a short walk from the
store to walk my dog and perfect setting.

I am a genuine purchaser and just wanted to say thank you to Paul and write a nice review, credit where it's due and my praise is thoroughly deserved.

Also, I want to praise the Pashley too, I wish more people would get out and support made in England. Im commuting now on mine, classic practical , low maintenance and very comfortable and reliable. Seems like it has a personality of its own already and its heart warmingly traditional and gets me to work on time.

I recently visited Bikes n Gear for some extra components and a service for my Pinerello road bike. Paul was extremely informative and gave cracking advice on what the bike and myself could benefit from. After I picked it from from having new wheels, service and a few extra bits, I gave it a test ride. WOW! The bike has never ridden so well. Not because of the new bits but because of the quality of servicing it had.

I must also mention that when I picked it up, Paul ran through a very detailed list of what he had done to the bike, loads more than I expected. And to top it off, it had been cleaned. I've never had such a detailed run down before, normally you just pick your bike up and your non the wiser as to what has or hasn't been done.
